I think it's obvious which ones should go. How about adding a forum for Foreigner, the New Cars, and/or Queen with Paul Rodgers? A Motley forum would also be a great addition.

Perhaps integrating the long defunct melrock classics board with this one?

Just don't dump the female rock board. I still use it frequently, and there's still several that view my posts, even though most said readers rarely post their opinions.

Andrew,I was thinking of a place where we could talk about our favorite songs,post great lyrics and discuss them,music genres,songwriters and stuff like that...All bands,all artists.
I don't know,maybe something like a "Songfacts" forum...
