Rate your Night Ranger cds and dvds. Leave any thoughts (EW style)
I really like the new cd, awesome

Dawn Patrol C- Only 2 or 3 song I like on this cd
Midnight Madness B+ Awesome cd, production little weak
Westwood one live Marquette, Michigan 1984* B+ Good boot, good sound
Live* B Another good boot
7 Wishes A- Good songs, better production
Big Life B Great production, but some of the songs are filler
Man in Motion C+ Very weak songs, a little long
Greatest Hits A missing some good songs
Live in Japan A- Good show, could be a little longer
Feedin off the Mojo {..replaces Jack Blades} B Some good songs for Jack not to be on it
Neverland {Jack Blades Returns} B+ A good return of the original lineup, good songs for the most part, great production
Rock in Japan B Not as good as the earlier live cd
Seven C+ Weak songs, weaker production
Hits, Acoustic, and Rarities B Great new recording of Sister Christian, better than the original, some other goodies
Hole in the Sun A One of the top 2 cds by the group, great songs, for the most part, and great production. New sound mixed with the classic sound.

KELLY KEAGY (Night Ranger)
Time Passes B First half great, second half ok
I'm Alive B Pretty good all the way through

DAMN YANKEES (Styx/Night Ranger)
Damn Yankees A- Great cd, one or two weak songs keep it from being better
Electric Ladyland USA* B Ok live cd
Don't Tread C- Yuk, a hand full of good songs mixed in with a bunch of crap, along with HIGH ENOUGH 2 (WHERE YOU GOING NOW)
Live Uprising* [FM] B A dvd rip of the vid, Music is good and good production.
High Enough and other Hits B+ A decent collection of the best of the group

Jack Blades C+ Some good songs, but for the most part, I do not get into it

Thanks Eric

Yes, Mojo has a good vibe to it, Dawn just seems to wander. Off Dawn I like Eddie, Don't tell me, and Call my Name, rest of the cd is really bad. Dawn is the only NR cd that hasn't got up on down as the years go by. I have never really cared for it-ERIC

Yeah, I'm not with you on that one either. I think DAWN PATROL is much better than MOJO...and only giving MIDNITE MADNESS a B+? I disagree...I think it's their best work! Not a bad song on that album! And for 1983, I think the production was pretty fantasticI would rank 7 WISHES at a very close #2 (probably an A-)

I really think Midnight Madness is probably better than 7 wishes, but the production on it is pretty bad. If they ever do a remaster series on it, it will be ranked at one. But IMO, even for that time Midnight Madness is still shotty in the production area, at time for me, making it hard to listen to. What I am surprised at is no one has said anything anout the new cd being king of the hill. I think it is that good.-ERIC

Well, I damn sure like what I've heard of it so far! VERY cool, modern sounding album, without sacrificing the classic sound.
Too bad they aren't doing more live dates this summer..and WHEN oh when are we gonna get that Night Ranger/ Styx/ Nugent tour???
