Man the lyrics I've heard are terrible. The band sounds good musically though and Wolf sounds pretty bad ass on bass. It sounds like 80's VH Eddie with Balance era Alex and DLR band DLR with worse lyrics

Some of the lyrics have me scratching my head too, but I really like the sound of the tunes so far (albeit shitty MP3 files). I believe I read that Eddie played all of the bass lines in the studio, but could be wrong. If so, I don't know why... Wolfgang is an incredible bass player and would have no problem playing this stuff. I could be mistaken though.

Ed still kicks serious ass, Alex sounds great, DLR STILL cannot sing or write decent lyrics, and they REALLY miss Mikey's harmonies.

Thanks for posting these. "The Trouble with Never" is my favorite so far.

Sammy's lyrics:

How Will I Know When It's Love?
Why Can't This Be Love?
Love Walks In

And lets not forget his solo masterpiece "Mas Tequila"

My favorite sucky Sammy lyric:

"Only time will tell if we stand the test of time." Really? Nice.

DLR's use of 800s in songs is kind of old. So is that "Look at all the people."

Didn't take long for the copyright police to take down these links! I'll listen to the CD, thanks... I still believe in paying for the music I want to hear.

I think this CD kicks serious ass. In my opinion, every song has hooks....some of them huge. And the guys are playing extremely well. It's a treat to hear Ed and Wolf trading and sharing guitar/bass runs. For me, some of these tunes (like "As Is") are instant classics that stand up against the best work they've ever done. Way to go guys!!!!!

Dexter

P.S. Of course...I posted this on the wrong thread....but oh well.
