I'm pretty sure more things were said directly to a few additional people on the stage, not to just Dennis.

Okay back to part of the original post......

thenightbull says:

Yes you read that right he flipped me off for no aparent reason.

Not true.

So I'am wearing my styx '07 shirt and I whip it out and yes again he flips me off for no reason again.

This is where I'm confused. You said that you were wearing your Styx '07 shirt and then you whip it out. What did you whip out? I'm kind of afraid to ask. So you whip "it" out and now Dennis is flipping you off again.

Any way, I asked you before, did you walk in the venue WEARING your BLACK Styx '07 shirt? Or did you pull it out of the one of the many bags that were in front of you? I walked by you and your Mom before the show quite a few times.

So then I start trying him to get to see me whipping out my shirt all night it doesn't work so then just because he flipped me off twice me and my mom of course was on my side we start booing him at the end of come sail away and then we get his attention and so his dumb bimbo wife flips both me and my mom off as well as dennis and then he says not only are you fat he said something else I couldin't make out.

So now you already caused a commotion in your area and you just kept going on and on by whipping out your shirt all night.

I'm pretty sure he didn't say anything about you being fat, I don't think you quite heard him by the way.

I'm still trying to piece together when Glen ran after you and followed you to the bathroom. From the time that I went from the front and walked around to the backstage gate it had to be about 6 minutes. I could've sworn that I saw Glen backstage on the phone and then walking back on the stage and then loading stuff in the van. Glen must've ran off that stage like lightning and tracked you down.

No offense, but I don't think Glen said all of those things to you and your Mom. The only thing I could think of is that you mentioning where your Mom works first and then spouting out to him.

You were by the backstage gate after the concert wearing your black Styx '07 shirt.

Obviously there's more to this story

Robin, that pic is funny, especially seeing Mrs. Clinton use to be on their board of directors. (Don't want to turn this into a political debate.)

When this started, the first thing I thought was that we finally had a thread that was going to get a lot of attention in a short time.

Zan,

So you did contact Glen to ask him WTF is he doing with Dennis.

My bad I figured that you would contact Glen and ask him WTF is he doing with Dennis.

How could have I misjudged you so???

Remember I am in your corner for you landing the Dr. Rightous part in Styx's 2012 recreation of the movie.

You have stated the Kilroy Was Here is your fav Styx album. Hopefully, you can land in the cast!!!!!

You didn't miss anything. Rajah's just special.

I like his definition of "calling out" too. In fact, I believe I was one who said to give all parties involved a break and to let sleeping dogs lie...knowing full-well that the peanut gallery wasn't through hurling personal insults at the guy for daring to be rude and overweight at the same time.

And you aren't through hurling insults at Suzanne...such a hypocrite.

Andrew - I am just stating the truth. A hypocrite by definition is one who pretends to be something they are not. Maybe I should have used a different word that describes trying to say that you are neutral and then continuing bashing a member of the band and his wife.

Who here would like Andrew to tell Zan to knock off the criticism of Suzanne?

Lifegiver.. if you are that depressed about this situation in the band and what happened this past week.. GET SOME PROFESSIONAL HELP!

I'm not saying that to be mean, hell I've had my fights with depression and the crap that I'm going through right now isn't the easiest to handle on most days, but I know that I have a support service to help me through this.

It sounds like you have a deeper problem then this band splitting up. Please, do it for yourself and get some help, nobody should be having to face what you are going through alone!

No Actually Yogi I stayed with my girlfriend in our apartment last night.. Can't afford a Holiday Inn Express!

I just think that Shane has some issues that he should try and get help to get under control. People shouldn't make light of a serious situation as depression, bi polarism, schizophrenia (spelling) and other mental health diseases.

Even though this is an internet board and people shouldn't take what is said to them in here seriously, unfortunately people do get carried away and sometimes others take comments out of context and it gets taken to a personal level.

Honestly, do we want this board to be closed on a weekly basis like the Journey forum?

Let's all take a deep breath, relax and take a step back before this spirals into something that we can't control and Andrew will have to put his foot down.

Besides, at least we have two versions of Styx music out there for our enjoyment.. just think, we could be the gutted Harem Scarem Fans (I am one) that just found out that after their next album, they are done.. fineto.. nada.. gone.. The other sucky thing is that they are only doing like two or three live shows together this fall and that will be it for their tour as well.

Just how devestated would we all be if both sides of the Styx camp said "we're done"..

Jodes,

The Holiday Inn Express line is a US tv campaign where peeps do really advanced things they have no background in and are supposed to be smart because they stayed in a Holiday Inn Express. Living in Canada, you probably don't know this.

1996 was a gift. I never expected it to happen. So anything after it was gravy.

If DDY and Styx decided to call it a day tomorrow, I think I'd be just fine. DDY would go out on a high note with his latest album, and Styx would have "preserved the legacy" (tongue firmly planted in cheek). My only wish is that their last album not be OWE, and their last two songs not be the new ones from that. I'd like to see one more strong Styx album. Not a covers album. Not reworkings of old hits. Give us something like DDY did - is it Grand Illusion? No, but it should be good. If Tommy gets out of his writing block, we could get something. Who knows.

No matter what, we will always have the music they recorded that each of us likes. Anyone who gets totally depressed over a band breaking up has issues. I'm sorry, it's just how I feel. Breaking up my own bands is much more traumatic than just a band's music I really like.

Really. Cuz I THOUGHT you asked:

When Glen decided to hook up with Dennis, I wonder how many time you tried to contact Glen to tell 'please dont'??

You mean to tell me that NONE OF YOU were perplexed when you got the news? It seemed perfectly NORMAL that you never once scratched your heads and went...HUH??? Well, butter my butt and call me a biscuit, you must not shock easily at all.

I'm so sure.

In fact, there were Dear Glens asking him the same thing at the time: HUH?

My bad for taking your words at face value. How could I have so blindly assumed you had the sense to actually comprehend your own writing? How could I have misjudged you so? :)

Thanks, but I just think people just have lost perspective. For all concerned, Styx died after 1991. Greatest Hits revived their career, and we got a tour with 4/5 of the popular lineup. Anyone who knew anything about the Styx history had to believe the fragile peace couldn't last. If you did, you were seriously delusional. No offense intended, but come on. Fast forward to 1999 and beyond. We're on 8 fun-filled years of back and forth around Styx vs. DDY and which one is Satan. If GH didn't revive Styx in 1996, we'd still be going on and on about EOTC forever and a day and was it a fitting end for the band, etc.? That's the bottom line, folks.

Be thankful we even have something to bitch about.

Yogi.. How do you know that I have no background in what I am talking about? I've been battling depression since my early teens, but back then I was just considered "a quiet kid" it wasn't until I started teaching that I realized I had a problem and I wouldn't fully be in control of my emotions until I got help.

So I have some idea of what Shane is going through.

And yes I've seen the Holiday Inn Express Commercials, they are aired here too..

It depends what Styx you are referring to as to when they died. For me, they died after giving the middle finger to each other following the Kilroy tour and went on to solo careers. The Styx that toured and recorded during 1990-1991 was the not the same Styx I and others loved. Just as Styx with DDY is not the same, Styx without Tommy was not the same for me either. John was not the same drummer. Nothing against Glen but that album/tour was very disappointing for me. You are right, 1996 was an aberration and I for one didn't think things would last.
