Suite, the experts don’t seem to share your optimism about the Brewers.

I may not have the same musical tastes as DDY these days but we do see eye to eye when it comes to baseball.

GO WHITE SOX! REPEAT
:D :D :D :D :D :D :D

ChicagoStyx, you're funny!! I'm not giving up my Brewers this season at all. In fact, I'm looking forward to my free George Webb burgers this season. If the Brewers win 12 games in a row, George Webb's gives out free burgers all day - LOL I hit 6 Webb's in 87' LOL

I'm not worried one bit. Who are those so called experts anyway?? Anything can change throughout the season. A lot of those higher paid babies end up with any injury, usually a broken fingernail. LOL

We'll see!!!!

Name your bet!

Okay Suite, I say that the White Sox will have a better record then the Brewers when the season is over. What’s the wager going to be? :D

LOL!!!

ChicagoStyx, you're really taking the White Sox?? Just because they had an okay season last year doesn't mean they're going to have a good one this season (LOL).

You can name it!! I'm up for anything (FOOD, cds/dvds, concert tickets, Chicago shirts - LOL), as long as it doesn't have to do with the Chicago Bears ACK!!

An okay season? They were in first place everyday of the season last year. They swept the World Series. The last team to accomplish both of those things in the same season was the 1927 Yankees. Not bad company to be in. They have improved their team for this year and every baseball expert is picking them. Now I know that things don’t always go as planned and all kinds if things can go wrong but from where thing stand right now Dennis and I are felling pretty confident.

I'll see how confident Dennis is this baseball season. 2 years ago he didn't take my bet with the Packers / Bears season. There was no way he was going to wear a Cheesehead on stage in Chicago - LOL He wasn't confident enough. Thank god I didn't bet him this past football season. It was bad enough to send cheese, t-shirts and cds out - LOL

We'll see how confident both of you will be by All-Star break - LOL

I was teasing about the "okay" season!! I was rooting for them. But not this year!!!

Yogi will now make his predictions:

National League:

West: Who cares 84 games will win this joke of a division
1. Padres - 85 wins
2. Dodgers
3. Diamondbacks
4. Giants
5. Rockies
Central: This division is not as good as last year. Milwaukee, Pittsburgh & The Reds are heading north while St. Louis, Houston and the Cubbies are heading the wrong direction. Still Milwaukee and Pittsburgh are not quite there yet.
1. St. Louis
2. Milwaukee
3. Pittsburgh
4. Houston
5. Cincinnatti
6. Chicago
East: This division is tough to predict. How do you pick against Atlanta???, and for the New York Mets????. I will and it may be a stupid pick to make. The good news for Atlanta( and Bobby Cox's wife) is that with their division title streak ending they will loosen up in the playoffs. They will win the National League title, before falling to the superior American League champion.
1. Mets
2. Atlanta** Wild Card & NL winner
3. Phillies - lose to Atlanta in a wild card playoff
4. Florida
5. Washington

San Diego over New York
Atlanta over St. Louis

Atlanta over San Diego- Atlanta NL champion

** Now lets bring on the REAL League
American League
West- Okland is the popular pick but I will go against it
1. Angles
2. Oakland- finish 2 games back of Angles- 3 back of Indians
3. Seattle
4. Texas
Central- Here is the BEST division in baseball. IF Linario & Baker pitch as advertised for Minnesota their pitching will bring them a World Series title. No one can touch a rotation of Santana, Radke, Silva, Linario & Baker- Loshe will be dealt ( Texas Rangers ) for some offense.Their hitting sucks, but their pitching is awesome. The Indians will get off to a much better start this year. This start will bring them the wild card. The White Sox will play a little better than .500 ball thru July when they will try to make a late run that will fall short of catching Minnesota and Cleveland. Detroit and Kansas City are both improved.
1.Minnesota***- World champion
2. Cleveland* - Wild card
3. Chicago
4. Detroit
5. Kansas City

East- George still doesnt have enough horses on the mound. Musina, Johnson & Riveria will all show their ages this year. By late June New York's pitching painic button will be pushed.
1. Boston
2. New York- 6 back of Boston - 4 back of Cleveland
3. Tampa Bay- Much improved
4. Toronto- Dire Straits( Money For Nothing)
5 Baltimore
Minnesota over California/ Anaheim- whatever you call em
Cleveland over Boston
Minnesota over Cleveland

World Series

* Minnesota over Atlanta ( again) in a replay of the 1991 classic

Yogi, you must know something that no one else in baseball knows. Out of all the articles and research I do on baseball you are the only person I have heard say that the Twins will finish any higher then 3rd place. Good luck with that one, your gonna need it!

The only research I know is that if the Twins management shows a little sack and puts Linerio in the rotation they may have a Rookie of the Year and a CY Young canidate all rolled into one. He could get both in year one. He averaged 11.5 strikeouts per nine in double and triple A last year. When he got the Sept call up he averaged over 9 in the show. His stuff is filithier than Santanas. Then again Santana may get his second in three years. He should of won it again last year.

As for Baker he was AWESOME in 11 starts last year. This should free up the Twins to trade Loshe who has always had GREAT stuff but does not win like he should. The Rangers want him bad. Bad enough that they may part with Texcheria(3B)( cant spell his name) to get him.

If the Twins happen to fall out of the race by the All Star break look for them to move Tori Hunter, Shannon Stewert or both by August.
