Different background vocals on Kilroy

There are a few songs on Kilroy that are really hard for me to place the background vocals. They don't sound like the traditional background diads of DeYoung and Shaw or the triads of DeYoung, Shaw, and Young. Listen to High Time's chorus. Who exactly is that singing the words "High Time" (before Dennis sings, "for us to start a revolution")? It doesn't sound like DDY, Tommy, or JY. Same thing with Cold War - the background vocals just don't sound very Stygian. They do on DLIE, HWBHB, and HMP, and are passable on DL, but on HT and CW I can't place them. Roboto sounds like Dennis overdubbed on himself. And JGTTN really doesn't have background vocals.
Anyone know the story behind the background vocals on Kilroy? Are those studio musicians?
