Anyone have an idea on when Styx will actually take the stage? I am not sure if I can take to much more of the crap that is on that show. I know the show was recorded last week so something has got to be out there showing the order of events on the show.
Thanks

This show still sucks, i bet they hold Styx for the end or whenever Adam Sandler is presented something, one of the two.

Rose Mc Gowan's speech was horrible. Saw Tommy in the audience though....

The song was not bad per sey it was just speeded up from what we would hear it as an encore. If you think about it we usually hear it with a real bluesy quality to it and this was straight forwardly the song. A little faster than maybe it should...but blue collar man sounded excellent with the credits. They rock no matter what!

That was a terrible show yes. What on earth gave Styx the idea of being on there? I know Adam likes Styx, but that wasn't worth it, not to me anyway.

The sound for all the bands stunk. ZZ Top was lacking also. Hey any pub is good. I mean, how many do you think watched that garbage of a show anyway.

You know what they are friends with Adam Sandler and any TV exposure is good exposure. Why not? The media spends so much time dissing Styx and any other "classic" rock band they need air time. Shoot they can't even get much time of VH1 Classic you know? And anyway in the end what a great tribute to Styx?
All said and done the boyz looked great!

I had to stay up 'til midnite to FINALLY see Styx?! I had the tape rolling downstairs though, why did I even bother? Tracy Morgan is the worst host EVER!!! I know there is a cultural disconnect going on with him and me, but it appears that he had zero dress rehearsal for the job and just stumbled through it. The only saving grace for the show was Carmen Electra dancing around.
On a side note, it is indeed sad to see the bands we grew up with, Styx et al, having the audience pass them by. I don't care how good they sounded (they did) watching Adam Sandler being the only one in the audience that even knew the words just reminds me that we're getting older every second.

...but you still look damn good, and that's all that matters.

I taped it, I watched, it sucked and I thought they didn't do that well. Better off next time Styx!

I didn't watch the whole show, but what I saw was definitely terrible--except for the performances by ZZ Top and especially, STYX! On my TV, the music sounded great--much better than some of the other shows they've been on, and the guys did a great job. I loved that Adam Sandler was so into them, and they got at least a partial standing ovation from the crowd (it was cut off for credits, so it may have been a complete one). And like it or not, any TV exposure is probably good for their career, whether it's a bad show or not. And if the crowd/audience is younger, so much the better--it exposes them to a new audience, and refreshes the memories of the old one.
