I'm suffering from Styx vs Dennis fatigue, so for a diversion I thought I'd enlist the help of all you friendly posters to create a concept CD filled with songs about or referring to rain somewhere in the Lyrics.
In addittion to DDY's recent song, I come up with a few others to get us started...
Rain - The Beatles
Rain ( o'er me ) The Who
Dang, I had a few others lined up in my head when I started writing, then my CRS disease flared up !
a few I won't put on my CD but are out there:
Raindrops keep fallin on my head (
shudder! ) B.J Thomas
I wish it would Rain - Phil Collins
Some help please ??? Gracias.
-CSF

It's Raining Men! Hallelujah! (OK, maybe that doesn't fit

)
Good topic, fansite. Y'all mostly covered what I might have come up with.
There are two old ones, from the 60's I think, and I cannot come up with the titles. One has the lyric "feels like raindrops, fallin' from my eyes" and the other one "walking in the rain" by one of the girl groups.

Actually it was Classicstyxfan, not Styxfansite...but I digress
adding to the list
Come Rain or Come Shine (pick your artist)
After the Rain (Nelson-makes it Styx related since they opened for them)
Rain on the Scarecrow-Mellencamp
Now whether these are good "rain" songs...a whole 'nother story

Sorry CSF! Love ya, sugar! I 'pologize for the wrong credit. It
is an interesting topic.
OK, I am going to add something that is not CD related at all. The all-time best movie musical moment "Singing in the Rain". Chop it out of the DVD of the movie and put it on your iPod!

This is such a great version of that song. Probably the best one out there.
