Tommy Shaw buys Donna Summer's Nashville home

914 Overton Lea Road, Oak Hill, 37220
Buyers: Tommy R. and Jeanne Mason Shaw
Sell price: $2.35 million
Sellers: Joel R. and Diane H. Buckberg
Sellers' agents: Judy Williams and Richard Williams, Crye-Leike Inc
Buyers' agent: Gail Greil, Zeitlin & Co. Realtors

Here's a Nashville sentence: Styx guitarist buys former home of Donna Summer.

Tommy Shaw bought this Oak Hill home with his lady — it includes a "billiard room," "massive gunnite pool" and stocked pond — from the Buckbergs (he of counsel with Baker Donelson). But the Buckbergs bought it from the late Queen of Disco and her husband.

The Shaws, oddly enough, have made real estate news before. Their Hollywood Hills home was featured on Bravo's Flipping Out reality show in 2011. That home sailed away last month for $5.3 million. Maybe the renovation left Shaw with t-t-t-t-t-t-t-too much time on his hands.

Would be cool if Tommy Shaw and Jonathan Cain start hanging out now.

Just got back from Nashville/franklin area, very cool place. It's very popular with celebs
Because they are reasonably left alone there. Very frowned upon to make a fuss when you see
Them in public.

Just saw Tommy and Jeanne hiking yesterday morning at a park near their house. Surprised to see him up and out so early (8:30 am) on a weekend morning! I didn't bother them, just said good morning when we passed each other.

Or Show Me The Way - Tommy did claim that he wrote that song during the RTP Tour...and then his guitar shrunk.
