Not taking anything away from anyone else, but clearly he was the driving force and it turned out extremely well. Hell, my chief complaint is that the album isn't longer. Well, that and JY's vocal delivery on his track, but that's minor compared to the positives. So very glad Styx decided to finally release new music. I hope they keep it up. I don't expect an album every 2 years, but clearly this band still has something to offer other than playing the hits. I'd love to see them play this album in its entirety for DVD. But for now I'm very satisfied with this.

What I thought MUST BE a Gowan track actually seemed to have a lot of Shaw input as well. I get so tired of people beating up on Gowan because he's not DeYoung. He shouldn't be and if you take that out of the equation... I mean, damn, listen to his contributions. They're excellent and so very Styx (with a dose of Queen and some British Influence tossed in).
