Well even though he wasn't a "band" member, I believe Kenny Aronoff played with Styx for a few shows in 2014 when Todd Sucherman's first child was born.

Maybe that's who he meant?

Or that Tom Nardini guy that was with them as Tradewinds? Shrug.

Gary Loizzo could be a non official member. He was there every step of the way and a big part of their albums and live sound.
