I like the idea we are finally getting a official release of the left out verse of CB

I listened to the Sing for the Day concert and I have to say it was really good, I think this format suited the Youth Orchestra much better than when it was the Styx performance.

The promotion of this through the Styx propaganda machine further shows that this entire operation is controlled by Tommy and Jeanne Shaw....

Christopher, you hate Tommy so much, why in the world would you want your good buddy DDY to rejoin him in Styx?

Serious question: Speaking as objectively as you can, is there anything TS has ever done that has not caused you to loathe him so much? Styx, Damn Yankees, solo--do you even like any of his music?
Sometimes it makes no sense at all.

I purchased both the CD and the blu-ray. So far I’ve listened to the CD. As usual his vocals are excellent and I like that the version of Blue Collar Man is more like the one from Big Bang Theory. I need to take some time and watch the blu-ray.

I have watched a couple of the YouTube videos and was absolutely shocked at how pure Tommy's voice is on the high notes. Pretty amazing for someone that old and after living the rock and roll lifestyle he once did.

yeh but the key is that he got clean and sober long before he damaged his voice permanently. I mean I dont remember the exact date he claims to have gotten clean but I known by the damn yankees days, which was 1990-1992/93 that he was claiming to be clean and eating as a vegetarian etc.......taking care of his body etc. so that had to help.

How does Aaron Lewis do it?

He smokes a pack and drinks a six pack every concert and his voice gets better and stronger every time I hear him.
Amazing!!!

Tommy was clean by July 1989. He also worked with a vocal coach. Nowadays he drinks lots of water and a tea called Throat Coat, which a lot of singers swear by to help keep the throat lubricated.
