Mike Aquino solo album

Just released is the solo album from Mike Aquino, guitar player for Pride of Lions and many other projects Jim Peterik is involved. Take a listen and I think you should be surprised by the quality and mix of styles.
1. Highlands : Great rock tune in the style of Survivor/Pride of Lions, catchy lyrics and melody.
2. Burning Sky : Great guitar tune with a harder rocking edge, very melodic.
3. News From Newport : Country rock song with fantastic lyrics, happy tune.
4. Bring It On To Me : This country vibe song really sticks in your head, the guitar parts are amazing.
5. Shine : Up tempo pop/rock song with a positive vibe.
6. When Words Aren't Enough : I'm never crazy about instrumental tracks but this one is fantastic. Who needs words when a drum and guitar talk so fantastic together. The guitar sound so emotional!
7. Jet Bridge Jesus : Southern Rock isn't dead. Mike's voice really fits this style.
8. Life Is A Smile : Acapella fun song.
9. Rollin' : Country rock in the old Bob Seger style.
10. Hello Again : Fantastic Ballad!

This are just small things on how I listen to it and it's short but just take a listen. Besides one hell of a guitar player I can tell you Mike Aquino is also a fantastic guy who is really there for the music and I had the pleasure seeing him play live several times and I can tell you he is in the same league as the great ones!
