Sorry people. But while I love Oceans and think FMS is okay but mediocre, you can't seriously like either over the #1 Survivor song of all-time!

If it can't be The Search is Over it's gotta be Eye of The Tiger.

Wow,this is hard. All 3 are great songs, but The Eye has the huge advantage of being a monster hit. :?
What should I vote? The successful one or the one I really really like? :?:

Different songs, different feels...Need to think some more.

Oceans getting mega love from here and the Journey board I see.

That solo is perhaps Frankie's most intense and dramatic if not best overall and mixed with they keys of Peterik the middle of that song is show stopping.

Another favorite part is the Eye-like rythym Frankie plays throughout. Far more sublte than the Eye rythym riff, but a quieter version of that omnipresent, relentless yet restrained picking. The same kind of rythym Springsteen plays on the title track of Tunnel Of Love.

Sullivan's on Oceans is so quiet it almost sounds like the bass until you hear Ellis appear.

Another favorite hook is Jamo using the growl to deliver the line "Craving your touch" which he also notably does on the line "No pain no gain" in Fire Makes Steel. Right out of the Mick Jagger playbook and JJ pulls it off badassedly.

"Oceans" got some luv from me! :D Voted for it,although I can't deny the beauty of the other 2 and I love 'em...
However,I went with the tune I really love."Oceans" speaks to me in a way the other two don't.

I totally agree with Red :"That solo is perhaps Frankie's most intense and dramatic if not best overall and mixed with they keys of Peterik the middle of that song is show stopping".
The vocals and bg vox on the chorus are goosebumping also.

Not so sure the song's gonna win,tho... :(

This is an outrage. A bloody outrage! At least I Can't Hold Back will kick FMS's ass in the title game.

Yes, there is that.

I have to agree. FMS is not all that. Holy dark horse. What were the Vegas bookies' odds???

Just a couple of hours left and it's looking like a burner...

Can Tiger fight back again or does FMS finally have it on the ropes...Did Oceans play spoiler to Tiger?

We'll see....

Wow. I wish our poll system allowed for proportional representation. It would be better if people could rank these three songs in the order they like them with weighted values.

I'd hate to see the winner win with a 33% +1 margin. That happens in Canadian politics all the time, and it's not representative of a true majority when the majority of people didn't vote for it.

The 3 MOST crucial components to "being" Survivor to me are
Sullivan/Jamison/Droubay.

Right now Survivor's rolling w/ 2 of those so that's cool by me. Much as I wish they would put out more product at the end of the day I consider it Frankie's band. I just think the band's best singer, in fact, the best voice in album oriented melodic rock history, is Jamison.
