The one Jamestown Massacre song that I know the title of, is called "Summer Sun." You can find it on Youtube.

Jamestown Massacre later became known as Mariah, and released an album with Frankie Sullivan on guitar, but Bickler was no-longer in the band at that point. Jim Peterik also wrote on or two of the songs for the Mariah album.

We should probably make separate lists of all of the recordings by each member of Survivor? Just in case there are fans on here that are not aware of some of the releases?

Until a couple of years ago, I had never known of the Radio City demos. I still need those!

Great thread idea! I would love to hear the song with Jillian. Does anyone know where I might be able to hear or purchase?

Here's a little background information on the CD...

The CD is titled "Jillian." It is a Christian Rock album. Jillian sings lead vocals on all of the songs. Dave Bickler does a duet with her on the track "Hands From Above." Frankie Sullivan is listed as doing a duet with her on the track "Prayer Warrior." Although, it is pretty much just Frankie's voice blended together with Jillian's voice.
Frankie Sullivan plays guitar on the entire album, and co-wrote a few of the songs with Jim Peterik. Jim Peterik wrote or co-wrote all but 2 of the songs, and he plays some Keyboards on it, as well as sings backing vocals. The album was Co-Produced by Jim Peterik and Frankie Sullivan.

You might want to check on ebay or Amazon to see if there are any listings of the CD for sale.

Maybe the one song with Bickler is on Youtube? I don't know?

Word of warning... It is not a hard Rock album. It really doesn't sound anything like Survivor, except for Bickler's lead vocals on the one song, and some subtle guitar playing from Frankie Sullivan.

What about 'Velocitized' - is there a Bickler version?

One track I wasn't aware of until recently -

Peterik and Sullivan wrote a song called 'Missing Persons' on Renaissance's Time-line album (1983?)

It's nothing like Survivor - more of a new romantic thing, but an interesting listen nonetheless.

Hi guys,

A few years ago someone in this board shared with me the "I don't" version sung by Bickler (which IMO, is way better than Jimi's). But my hard drive got screwed and I lost it. Can anyone share that one with me again?

Thanks in advance! :)

Here's an interesting article that talks about Dave Bickler in his original band Jamestown Massacre.

It also mentions Mariah, The Ides Of March and Survivor.
