New show in Texas May 29

Postby Mikele » Thu May 07, 2015 3:16 am

Apparently they have booked a show with Mark Ballas:

29th May 2015
Worthington Renaissance Fort Worth Hotel, Fort Worth, TX, US

Would be interesting to see how the band will pull this off with Dave carrying all the leads, and what songs will be left out of the set (I doubt obscure songs will come in at this point)

I was hoping that with the lack of shows scheduled that that was a sign that they were actually in the studio recording. Probably not, though. :(

I knew Dave was in the studio cutting some solo songs, but no news of any Survivor stuff. I don't think it will happen

Oh no, DB is watchin weekly movies, hopes that summer weather will come and is sharing other senseless trivia. Years ago he said that his wife expects him to get his solo album better to be done. I assume that they have settled that one. "Solo album soon" is written on his page for years now. It'll never see the ray of light. I assume, he is just too scared to release something. I can even understand it though i would buy it anyway. There is no record company that would release it and he does not have a band to promote it, which is inevitable nowadays....

He (Dave) could sell it as a digital download. He wouldn't need a record label for that. Sure would be nice for him to at least release it that way. Even though I'd prefer it as an official CD release.

There is absolutely ZERO excuse for Survivor to not at the very least release new material in the form of digital download, as well!!!

I wonder if Frankie even tried to get a Survivor song in "Creed" that is in theaters this November?

The show didn't exist, it was wrong information.

BTW, I wonder if the band really exists at this point.

Yeah, I had never seen it listed on www.survivormusic.com

I think that the band is now officially done, although there has been no announcement from Sullivan.

They should be in a studio right now recording their final songs as a band. Although, I'm sure that that is not happening. :(

The band is out of the radar although it seems like this is the best resurgence period of melodic rock ever. Just consider that in the last edition of the italian bi-monthly magazine 'Classix' there is a full 20plus pages article on Survivor, with multiple sections on discography and band members previous and past bands...
