If he wasn't happy with "Reach", why did he put it out and include two song with himself on vocals?

Not too surprised about his after-thoughts on Reach.
New record with Barton and DB? Now, we all know this aint gonna happen. We heard that line million times. But it's great to hear Frankie so happy about the current band, hope it could tour extensively at least.
