Did you hear the Gins latest, Major Lodge Victory? A great album that sticks to the classic Gin sound, even though Robin sounds a little older.

I thought they were done after their singer suicided. Dang, I'll have to grab it. Like that band.

Nah, it wasn't their singer - it was one of their main songwriters and guitarists, Doug Hopkins, who committed suicide. Guy was a major alcy. Some diehards say the band lost their bite after he went, especially lyrically as he wrote some great ones (Lost Horizons, for example). Those fans may be on to something, at least lyrically, but their sound is still very good to me. Robin Wilson, their singer, is alive and well .

1)The guitarist didn't get pummelled...he was pushed down.
2)The fan appeared to have come from backstage. Hmmmm.
3)From the video, the fan didn't appear to be hurt even when being accompanied offstage.
4)What better way for a dead 90's band to get back in the headlines? (while not appearing like total idiots).
