Please. He is in full control. She's as nervous as a nerd on prom night, and if she says "John McCain" one more time, I'm going to have to hit the mute button.

Both have made good points. Both have been shown wrong by the other. Neither has made a major gaffe. It's a draw and only a strictly partisan view could lead anyone to think otherwise thus far.

Opening up the reserves will only add 1% to the U.S.' 25% of the world's oil supply consumption.

Most of the time I've heard of the reserves being opened up, it's been Dems asking for it. Not a good idea, in my opinion, unless absolutely necessary.

Amazing, how its only "class warfare" when the richest percentile is asked to pay a fair share.
Most would argue the revolt against the bailout this week was class warfare at its most populist.

This could all be solved by a flat tax or, better yet, the Fair Tax.

The biggest question I would like to have answered by either of these vice presidential campaigners is, what the fuck is that spot on Biden's forehead? :D

"white flag of surrender"... nah, that doesn't sound familiar at all.

Last I checked the top 1% are paying well over 30%. How much is a fair share to you? Taking all of it then propping them up with a stick to go out and earn more for you?

This is where I part company with other conservatives. The 1% & 30% argument is misleading because of this...Of course the top earners are going to pay a larger percentage of the total tax burden simply because they earn more money. However, that does not mean that they are being unfairly taxed compared to middle income earners.

Sarah hasn't towed the Republican line any more than Joe has the liberal Democrat line. Remember, Obama and, I would guess Biden also, towed the Democrat line 97% of the time. :D

Sarah further perpetuated the "air raiding villages" distortion which is mentioned daily by Hannity and other AM radio carnival barkers.
Like others have noted, she is the definitive Rush Limbaugh candidate.

Amazing how both Sarah and McSenile have adopted fiery Huey Long populist rhetoric all of a sudden.
What is their party affiliation again?

I'm not saying they shouldn't pay a higher rate. What I'm saying is "how much is enough" and who is any politician to make that call. It's also misleading when libs point out how much money in tax breaks they get compared to those who don't pay in the first place.

I'm not saying they SHOULD pay a higher rate. Everyone should pay the same rate. Someone earning $1,000,000 should pay the same rate as someone earning $50,000.
