Me too. Both will play well and win by 10+.

That's actually what I'm thinking. Indy by 17 and Dallas by 14. Trying my point spread luck again.

I'm taking both teams. I think the rest will help these guys. Pack came out a bit flat yesterday, but then dominated the Seahawks. I look for the Cowboys and Colts to recognize that they can't come out flat. I predict Cowboys by 10 and the Colts by 17-21.

I'm gonna go with Patriot desperation here and say "A win is a win no matter how ya get it". Can't wait to hear John's response to this.

Well, I'm quite sure that I never once said "A win is a win no matter how ya get it". I said it doesn't matter if you win by one point or 30 points...It still counts in the W column! As for predictions...I'm 2-0 so far, after a subpar 2-2 last weekend. I think the Colts will blow out San Diego. SD is a fraud team, just like Pittsburgh! Merriman needs to stop doing his retarded sack dance and focus on winning a football game! The guy is a complete JACKASS! It wouldn't shock me to see Indy win by three touchdowns.

As far as the Dallas/Giants game...this is a VERY tough game for me. As a Boston guy, I am required to LOATHE EVERYTHING New York! I've also always DESPISED the Cowboys. Because I hate both teams equally, it's easier to be a bit more objective. If T.O. is running the way I saw him running in practice on Thursday (he was full speed with no visible signs of the high ankle sprain), Dallas will give the Giants all they can handle! That said, I still think Wade is a buffoon and can't be trusted to win ANYTHING! I think regardless of which team wins, it's going to be close. I'm still picking the Giants to upset the Cowboys in this one. I just don't think Dallas is focused or well-coached enough to win in the playoffs!

I was just trying to get ya riled up with the "Win is a win" thing...just fun.

Now as far as the 'Boys go...if they play like the did against the 'Skins/Lions/Eagles....we're gonna get raped. If the past 4 weeks (regular season) is any indication on how we're going to be in the playoffs....we don't fucking deserve it. Now if we play like a Championship team today....I'll keep on believin'. :-)

What a freakin' game! Hats off to San Diego for giving Indy a game I never thought they had in them. That phantom pass interference play against number 42 on San Diego against Reggie Wayne in the 4th quarter was an embarrassment! The guy never touched Wayne, and yet the refs just had to throw Indy a bone.

It would have been less painful to pick my nose with an ice pick than it was to watch that game. 2 shit teams. Patriots are gonna roll the Bolts next week. Won't even be a fun game to watch.

Here's your moment, johnroxx! Your Chargers PLAYED THEIR ASSES OFF, today! I'm not sure how anyone could have watched that game and not come away impressed with their performance! I thought the referees were doing everything in their power to give this game to the Colts, but the Chargers simply didn't give up. I'm on record as saying that I was VERY wrong about the Chargers. I called them a fraud of a team, and they showed IMMENSE character in this game today. I'm still not sold on Norv Turner as a coach, and I still don't think the Chargers are beating the Patriots! No matter what happens, the Chargers are already playing a week longer than I thought they would.

My Chargers Defense played when they had too.

The Refs pockets were full with cash for being paid off to make all the wrong calls against the Bolts.

There is an alien God and he prefers the chargers over the colts.

new england, don't get caught sleeping, the chargers are a come from behind team when they need to.

shit, we played with replacement players the last half and quarter and we still won !!! bwahahahahahahahahahaahhaah

For what it's worth, John, I stand by the quote you highlighted about Merriman! The guy is a fool and hated as much as Bellichick is, by the rest of the league, because of his nonstop "hey, look at me" routine, every time he does what he's paid to do (i.e. get a sack). As for the "smack"...that's precisely why the Chargers won't win. The Patriots haven't forgotten LT running his mouth and all the other guys running their mouths, before the last game they played. Based on what I saw today, the Chargers certainly should give them a better game. You just better hope your boy Rivers plays, because Volek going against Bellichick could get UGLY! Your boys have had a great run, but it's all about to come to a screeching halt!
