Actually, I don't think it matter to enough voters to make either you or McCain (or Hillary) happy. It's actuaoly kind of irrelevent.

And, how McCain has run his campaign is full of misjudgements. He misjudged the house and the original bailout vote. He misjudged the American people and how they would react to the bailout. He misjudged the long-term reaction to Palin being VP. He misjudged how the voters would react to his negative campaign. He has misjudged a great many things lately.

mccain has poor judgement? wtf? that is really laughable. palin scares you? are you kidding me? the people that obama had the very poor judgement of mingling with should scare anyone... anyone with half a brain that is. prolly wouldn't matter if he wasn't running for... PRESIDENT.

Oh, please, this is old news. Hillary brought this up early this year while she still thought she had a shot at winning the nomination.

Palin also exagerated the coneection with the "pal'ing around" comment. She took it a bit over the top...and the entire comment has lost credibility because of it.

It just shows how desparate McCain is to find something to drag Obama down...taking something that was already been drudged up and digested over six months ago.

"palling" that was a ny times quote.

i'm just pointing out the fact that it wasn't palin waking up sat morning & just pulling this bit of info out her butt... like the media has people believing. it was written up in the ny times sat morning.

Obama only stated current existing US policy - there was nothing remotely controversial about it.
In fact, we've been carrying out attacks on terrorist sites in Pakistan with drone missiles.
You're in favor of letting the terrorists live to bomb another day, huh?

Umm, no, it wasn't.
Nowhere to be found in fact.

TNC...told you he hadn't quit.....the dude is a fake...

NEW YORK -- Barack Obama says he wishes he had more time for staying fit. And the Democratic presidential candidate admits that he still occasionally smokes a cigarette.

"Most of my workouts have to come before my day starts," Obama told the magazine Men's Health in an interview for its November issue. "There's always a trade-off between sleep and working out. Usually I get in about 45 minutes, six days a week. I'll lift one day, do cardio the next."

If he had the time, Obama said, he would spend 90 minutes working out.

Quitting smoking didn't create "huge withdrawal symptoms," the Illinois senator said, partly because he smoked only seven or eight cigarettes a day at his peak. His wife, Michelle, pressured him to quit, he said.

Obama's advice for those trying to kick the habit? "Eliminate certain key connections -- that first cigarette in the morning, or after a meal, or with a drink," he said. "If you can eliminate those triggers, that should help."

Obama said he's bummed a cigarette a couple of times during the campaign.

"But I figure, seeing as I'm running for president, I need to cut myself a little slack," he said.

Obama said when he told daughters Sasha and Malia that he was running for president, they asked whether the "secret people" -- his Secret Service detail -- would be following them around all the time.

"And I told them, well, not right away," he said. "They've adjusted wonderfully. And I've tried to make sure that they haven't had to participate too much in the political process."

Is anyone else following the ACORN story? I was watching ABC News this morning and they were talking about the government's raid on ACORN offices. They showed paperwork that had the same voter registered 10 times, with several different addresses, phone numbers, and Social Security numbers but with the same signature on each.

ok so the times didn't use the word "palling" but it did find that their relationship is more than what obama is making it out to be. and does anybody else find it annoying that the time refers to obama and mccain as mr. obama and mr. mccain???

Yes I am...they are doing it in EVERY state, here in PA they are even changing the registrations of Republican's to Democrat falsely.

ACORN should be prosecuted under RICO statues since they are doing this across state lines.

It should be interesting to see the fall out, because well...we all know who was running with the ACORN crowd, initmately as a matter of fact, do we not?

We all should stand up and take notice that the ORIGINAL bailout bill would have given a HUGE chunk of money to ACORN.

We all should also stand up and take notice that ACORN was part and parcel to the meltdown in the first place since they pushed so hard to get people these no verification loans and would protest at bank offices if people didn't get them.

Anyone think this may be an issue for Obama though?? So far most of the major media hasn;t even looked at this beyond a small blurb.

This has been going on in the black communities of Chicago for decades. "Vote early and often" has been the joke. They've uncovered dead people that voted, people voting for their bed ridden parents and grandparents and people voting for homeless people. This has happened in some white communities as well, but it's not nearly as rampant.

Where do they find these Yo Yo's that #1 have questions that aren't even formulated correctly and are written for them and they can't even read them...

Sorry but give me someone that sounds edumacated asking an edumacated question please...

AND

Question-True or False, 2 + 2 = 4?

BO: That's a tough question as you need to be able to look at what 2 equals before you can start adding....

McCain: My friends, Barack Obama here does not believe in addition, if you look back at how he handled Math back in 2nd grade...

Tommy B.: 2 DAMN MINUTES, you agreed to it!

WTF is going on here?

God this kills me...but I have to agree with TNC here. Obama being a smoker/ex-smoker/fallen-off-the-wagon ex-smoker is meaningless and irrelevant.

Argue policy positions, not habits. We all have them.

But damn dude, a CARTON a day???

If you ask them how they feel do they tell you, "My LUNG feels great!"?
