You better fucking be there. 4 years doing this show & maybe 3 people from this board have seen us live!! I've always contended that no one will "get" what we do unless they've been to a show & all this other stuff won't matter anymore.

Hey Jeremy...

Where does your band perform?

Hey John, we almost did a wedding in Boston this summer, but the groom couldn't convince the bride's family that a reception full of "Open Arms" and "Separate Ways" would be a good idea. We'd love to come up that way sometime, but the closest at this point is still probably Maryland...

John, I get what you're saying. However, one of the things that kept me going over the years when people would say I didn't have a certain "look" or whatever, was knowing that guys like Perry or Mercury or Halford, or most of the other guys who've inspired me, let their voice stand for itself. My earlier reply was very tongue in cheek, but let's face it, I've been in the music business for 20 of my 35 years, and I've seen plenty of guys that "looked" like a musician from the long hair and the bare chests and bear-claw earrings, and couldn't sing their way out of a paper cup. It's never bothered me. But when you're a normal guy working an executive sales job 50 hours a week (yes, my competitors are at golf tournaments while I'm on stage at a festival somewhere), you do what you got to do. Besides. I'm not exactly poon-starved anyway, and in the end, isn't that what it's all about?

8)

Amen to that! For what it's worth, I definitely think your voice stands on its own. Most YouTube clips actually sound awful and really don't do any singer's voice justice, so if you sound that could on a shitty boot...I'd come listen to your band, any day! Keep up the good work. Anyone keeping the music alive I grew up listening to is always okay in my world!

Abso-fuckin-lutely, if you have the pipes you don't need all of the show. The music sells itself without being packaged around a bunch of bullshit to cover shite vocals. Jeremey, you rock dude. When you heading to Indiana?

Hey Jeremey...

I just noticed a lot of your gigs are a bit closer to my new state. I bought a new home in the Charlotte area of North Carolina and will probably be re-locating down there within the next 6 months (tired of 36 years of miserable Boston winters!). I'll have to check out your site when I get down that way to see if you have any gigs near the Charlotte area.

Jeremey, as always you sound good brother...can't wait to sing side by side with ya someday for a jam!

Thanks, Jeff. Looking forward to it - My place or yours??? :D

I appreciate that Mac digs what I do, but I'm just a normal guy like anyone else on this forum, so Mac, I want to be gracious & appreciative that you enjoy the show, but at the same time I don't want to be put up against this guy or that guy - I'm doing what I do for my own personal enjoyment, both out of singing these songs, and out of connecting to the people I'm performing for.

Damn it!! Looks like I stirred up JSS !! and Jeremy... I do dig what u do man... big time.... Jeez..... and Im gonna take the credit for you n JSS if you ever get together man...haha

and JSS.... You read my posts..I always say you are a great singer..... thats not in doubt man.... but for me...its not the signature Journey sound any more..... those songs are welded to the voice.... inseperable. Hey..and Im no Perry or Augeri freak.... I will accept anyone there who has that timbre to his voice.... and right now..its Jeremy....

and sorry Jeremy... didnt mean to embarrass you...or JSS !! doh!! Apologies

Hey Jeremy... do you have any material for sale...DVD or CD??

Please pm me man!

RONNIE JAMES DIO To Reunite With TONY IOMMI, GEEZER BUTLER And BILL WARD Under The Banner HEAVEN & HELL

Even though their respective managements have not officially released any information, Rafabasa webzine in Madrid, Spain is reporting exclusively that starting in June, 2007 there will be a reunion tour of a group going by the name HEAVEN & HELL.

At this time, there are no dates confirmed, but the tour booking agent is offering the band to the promoters of the most important heavy metal festivals taking place next year.

Under the name Heaven & Hell you will find TONY IOMMI, RONNIE JAMES DIO, GEEZER BUTLER and BILL WARD.

Evidently if everything is confirmed, they will be playing a set consisting of music from every single CD that Ronnie James Dio performed with BLACK SABBATH, to include Heaven & Hell, Mob Rules, Live Evil and Dehumanizer.

The reunion cannot tour under the name Black Sabbath, or BLACK SABBATH WITH DIO, due to the fact that the copyright of the name is the property of OZZY OSBOURNE and his wife/manager Sharon Osbourne.

Too bad that couldnt do better than Iommi. He's kind of a dud. Dio rocks though. I'd rather seem him hook up with Blackmore again, now there would be something to get excited about! 8)

Iommi is no dud. He's not one of my favorite guitarists but he's no slouch, either.

You're right, though, about reuniting with Blackmore. THAT would be cool. 8)

Well, he's no dud if you like those 12 year old riffs (not Schon's 12 year old ones!) but me and my power chord playing buddies before we figured out we can't play! No, Iommi is probably among the worst of 'em, really.

OMG Mcneil u have stooped to a new all-time low. I cannot believe u ripped on Jeremey about his looks. He is one of the good guys of this forum who never says anything bad to anyone. Plus he gives us the honest & (on this forum) gutsy opportunity of listening to his incredible voice. FWIW I think Jeremey is handsome & sexy. Watching him sing those songs & strut around the stage is thrilling to me. I'd give anything to see him live. Jeremey is on fire signing Suzanne & u can see how much of a pro he is in the way he sings it. I about fell off my chair when I heard him do Good Morning Girl & told him so before. What a set of pipes. That in & of itself is incredibly sexy. Wow.

Mcneil I honestly can't believe u sit there ripping on Jeff saying he can't hit high notes. I've heard u doing McCartney & u can't even hit his high notes & they're not half as high as the Journey back catalog. Who the bloody hell (to use ur own vernacular) are u to talk? Are u perfect? Who died & made u Journey-god? No offense to Jeremey (b/c I know he's been doing this a long time too) but Jeff is a professional who has earned a living in the music biz for more than 20 yrs. U cannot make comparisons. FYI I believe Jeremey talked openly about the fact that he & his band brought down the Journey songs a bit at some point so as not to kill his voice. Bless him for admitting that. But there again is another reason u can't sit on ur high horse making comparisons.

I can also tell u that when I compare Jeremey singing a Journey song like EOTB & Jeff singing it, I prefer Jeff's version from the boots I heard. I haven't had the ability to compare directly every song they both sing b/c the boots aren't out there for them all for either guy. But I suspect I might prefer Jeremey's versions sometimes & Jeff's at others. & I bet if I heard many boots of the same songs, I'd go back & forth. B/c this is LIVE & it's not the same every nite.

For a so-called professional musician (or lookalike/soundalike or whatever u are) u have a lot to learn Mcneil. Read what Jeff wrote to u please. Think about it. Or is the only thing ur capable of doing ripping on others & using crude disgusting analogies & language? Dean can be crude but he's funny when he does it. Ur just sick. U don't come across well. U ought to realize that. Would Sir Paul like how u represent urself? If he read half what u write here, u might not get invited back to his b/day party...ur big claim to fame.

I'll get off my soapbox. This just made me sick. Go ahead & rip on me now. It's what u do best.

Jeremey...

You're one talented dude! That was an exceptional performance! I've always thought that is the one Journey song (yeah...I know...it's a rather obscure one) that would test any vocalists' ability. I thought that song showed off Perry's voice as well as any song he ever sang and my compliments to you for nailing that song with all of those ridiculously high notes! I definitely need to plan a road trip to come and see you guys. You might look like my accountant, but my accountant surely can't sing like you :)
