I say bullshit! Journey is still very much Journey! The new CD IS Journey 2008 and sounds great to me. Let SP take another five years to release something new and original...who gives a crap. If it's good...I'll probably buy it.

I still have Journey 2008 ( and Journey 1999 - 2007 thanks to SA and JSS) and that's better than any version of Journey that would have SP in it from this point out! Man!! I'm so sick of all the Perry loons who keep dragging this same tired shit up all the time. Move on already!

he doesnt tour

he doesnt put out new material

he doesnt do much of anything musically. how can he be anything ? he is a hasbeen and is not journey. he has not done anything with journey in a long long time.

as much as I loved the guy when he was with Journey, he isnt really in the biz. hang it up!!!

There is a video of some show from VH1 or MTV maybe after ROR. Neal is on camera for his part and says " He ( Perry) brought all the success to the band". Now who wants to argue with the Neal quote ? Most of us older fans saw the show and recorded it.

Well the twinkled toed one plays the piano, and while AP is the most vertically challenged one in the band, he's definitely not a scrub. Best fit they've had since SP, in my opinion.
