This is actually a very cheap trip for me -- already had a travel voucher from the airlines after returning from Shoreline which all but covered my plane fair. It's a doozy!
Mel and the others are right... I try also to balance between saving and living my life, because I never really traveled that much until the past couple of years, and there will most likely never be another 2008 for me -- not like this year. Until a few years ago, I just stayed buried in work and never gave vacations much thought. But I don't want to get old and have no memories other than busting my tail at the office to look back on. This year has been extremely helpful for me in more ways than one.
You should think about coming down, man! We'd love to have ya! There are 3 other MR peeps in my state besides me that I know of, and I have yet to meet any of them...
While I don't think it's anyone's business how you handle your finances, how you choose to provide for your family's future or what you do with your time....you always seem to respond in kindness.....now begins the whining, HOOOOUUSTON, what happened to Dallas? lol j/k
