There's no way that this is a true event.
Seriously Journey members.... Grow the hell up. You're turning into an absolute joke!!!

I'm more fascinated by how much money Perry has been hauling in from every new Journey album and tour over the last 20 years since he left than I am the lawsuit. I figured he was making a nice living doing nothing but I didn't realize that he was banking a mint. He sure raked Schon and Cain through the coals in that Elmo agreement back in 1997.

Exactly.

LOL....that is exactly what I thought, too. It reads like a bad April Fools joke.
If it's true, then , WTF? I mean, that's a train wreck.
If it's a stunt, then, WTF? How lame, what a train wreck.
Either way, this is really, really, really stupid.

Ebake: I agree. That part is FASCINATING to me! Dude got 50 freaking percent!!! Yo! He was making a MINT! PLUS his investments and diligent savings. I have always wondered about him and his lawyer friend. Well, now we know. No wonder he thanked his lawyer at the RRHOF and if we were him...we would too. And you know what's telling: Steve voted against Ross and Smith and voted with the guys, Cain and Schon! So while he is no longer with the band performance wise, he still has voting rights and say in regards to licensing and publishing. So...wow...Steve's got REAL juice.

Hoping this is an early April food joke.
All I know with She-devil and Gate Crasher wives, this will be fought vigorously.
All I can say is pray for Arnel, he doesnt need this crap.

Yeah, it’s crazy. The stadium tour with Def Leppard in 2018 grossed about $98 million I believe and if you do the math, Perry probably banked $10 million easy from that 1 tour.

ebake02 wrote:This sure was a shocker, I wonder who ratted them out if it’s true. Ross and Steve probably thought they could take advantage Neal and Jon’s bickering over the last couple years. They need to bring back Randy on bass and either Omar or Deeno on drums since their already somewhat familiar with the material. Expecting two brand new people to learn the dirty dozen front to back in only two months before a tour is a tall order.

Doesn't Deen have his own thing going on? Dead Daises and the other band? Revolution Saints or something like that? Why would he come back to this when he has peace and good will with his blokes?
perryfan61 wrote:"Steve voted against Ross and Smith and voted with the guys, Cain and Schon! "
That's not what I saw in the documents. Herbie and Steve both voted FOR Ross and Smitty to be president and secretary.
Something is definitely wrong with this picture. I'm waiting to see what Ross and Smitty have to say, if anything. They're not much for social media.

1) Rev Saints doesn't tour, which is where the $$$ is.
2) Nobody cares about The Dead Daisies.

What publicity stunts has Journey pulled in recent years?

I agree. The documents I saw makes it look like SP and Herbie agreed with the power grab. However, Cain's signature is on some of the documents, and he disputes it. So who knows what is real?
