Run a whiff of a rumor that SP will rejoin Journey for the next tour over there and see what happens.
Yeah, Gunbot, you should. Well, the problem is there's a huge amount of lurkers here from those sites, so you will never be able to pull it off. They've all already read this thread.
I have already voiced my opinion that when Arnel's work visa expires, he will be released and a major attempt will be made for a one off reunion tour. I think it will rival what Bon Jovi just did. I just don't see Arnel in it for the long haul. Scaled down touring and no new releases off of Revelation tell me this was one trick pony presented by Walmart and will not happen again.
We'll see

Oh YEAH! Right....I see it now...
We were in an old renovated Factory to shoot our Music Video - I was standing under a sky-light; it was mid-day, and the Sun made a kind of "spotlight".
That's wild....I did not see that until it was pointed out!

I think I spend more time here when I'm at work. I'm watching winnie the pooh right now, so I'm not really missing anything.

For 2008, out of 428 million total albums sold, 67 million were digital sales. For the time being, CD is still the format of choice if you plan on having a successfull launch for a new album. And that is still an expensive endevore to get the manufactoring done and have retailers carry the product Having a label is still the way to go at this moment I would think.

Interesting facts. Because of his absence, wouldn't it be far more cost effective to then do only downloads, cut a deal with Amazon or Itunes, or just off his own site. That way he would stay an independent, no contracts or label hassels. Can run his own show. See what the demand is and then maybe go the cd route if the demand is there?

I don't picture Perry signing any contracts w/ a record label. I also don't picture him touring behind a new release. I think he is done with both of those.

Darn it, and I was planning on stimulating the economy with that very nice $7500 refundable/repayable over 15 years 0 percent interest loan I will receive as a first time owner to finance my boob job and front tickets to the Steve Perry comeback tour. Guess I'll have to make someone else very happy!
