Like I said, I don't give a f**k if you're right or wrong. So he puts out a new album (or doesn't). Has nothing to do with you. I just have trouble with the 'tattle tail' approach you use.

Honestly, no I'm not making any stupid bets. Its not worth it. There is no plate to step up to and there's no bat. I don't have a need to be right or wrong or anything else. Perry will do whatever he's gonna do, and I hope the things I have heard for awhile now are true. If not... well then I wish him happiness however else he chooses to find it.

Well, I do not do passive/aggressive and I ignore friends of friends of cousins of a noted personality's milkman who dole out bits of information. In my tiny-brained nappy-ass opinion, until Perry gets himself a real agent or publicist to announce his artistic intentions, I figure he is retired and loving it.

From what 'little' I have heard (or even know) he is a perfectionist and if his lastest recordings are not up to his standards then they will never see the light of day. Which would be a crime.

For what it is worth I think that 'Trial by Fire' has some excellent tunes on it.

Seriously. Wish they would have toured behind that one. Never got to see SP in concert and afraid at this point I never will. I'll have to watch the concerts on DVD

I went to the official website and downloaded the (TBF) album with extra tracks and loved it even more.

Wouldn't matter to me if SP sang listings from the phone book or the freakin' grocery list....I'd still buy it.

I say if he does Great if he decides not to we still have all his music to listen to. I was listening to my Escape cd today in my Truck. It just doesnt get any better.I like him no matter what he sounds like. Im going to believe Madsplash is right because its alot more fun to hope for new music than think about how long its been or wonder if he can still deliver so I guess WELL SEE. The negativity of some people could suck the color out of a rainbow. And the over-the-top worship can be just as crazy. If you let what others say affect the way you feel about someone and their music, that is on you. People like to speculate and discuss on message forums, but nothing anyone posts here affects the music I listen to. Well, unless it is someone suggesting an artist I haven't listened to before.

Yep I guess so.I personally Havent heard any of his songs that I can say that I hate When FTLOSM came out i didnt like it at first because He sounded different than the other Albums now I love it. I cant believe he would sound that much different today. But i guess time will tell (or not).
