Music Myspace Stevie!
I can't believe that Itunes wouldn't be more lucrative for ANY band than going through a record company. I mean, distribution and promotion is one thing, but with Itunes, you get so much more of a cut than from a record co.

If this conversation actually happened, this means a new album could be on the way after all.

Come on BJG! You KNOW this means World Tour! Don't be so negative. It's going to happen for I know it is. The signs are all there! He's eating. He's in public. He's wearing a Jacket. Jesus, how much more info do we need!?

These people disgust me.
Hey Lora, would this be something worth legally pursuing for Perry? After all, the blogger admitted Perry declined photos. Maybe Perry should "send a message", at the very least he could get the picture removed.
Not worth the time and effort for him to track down every ill-mannered loser like this guy. What the guy did wasn't illegal, just inconsiderate and tacky.
Obviously this guy isn't a fan. I never have gotten people that get an autograph then turn around and sell it on ebay? Why? Isn't there something more replaceable you could sell if you need the money?I have cd booklets personally signed to me from my 3 faves and you'd have to pry those damn things out of my dead and buried fists before you could sell them.

And another thing...The guy wasn't wrong when he said Perry was dressed "pretty bummy". He was! If you don't want to be photographed looking "pretty bummy" don't be hanging around in "The Entertainment Capital of the World" dressed like you're trying to impersonate the homeless. Is it too much to ask SMFP to put on a decent shirt and a pair of pressed pants? Just how many of those crappy black t-shirts and pairs of rumpled cargo shorts does that guy own anyway? It's not "cute and comfortable" it's tacky. TACKY, TACKY, TACKY!!!
The only thing tacky here is your post about the dude's clothes being tacky. Post a pic of yourself right now and let us judge what is or isn't tacky, eh?

Apparently he's just a disinterested party who goes around seeking autographs to turn around and sell to people who are interested. Nothing new. Where do you think all that autographed stuff on eBay comes from anyway? The only thing he did "wrong" was repeat the conversation he says he overheard (or his interpretation of what he says he overheard). He clearly was not part of the conversation, so he cannot possibly know the context of what he heard.
As for the photograph, well, I would guess a good portion of the photos of Perry "out and about" where taken without his permission/knowledge. I know it doesn't fit well with Perry's "private person" persona, but, if he's out in public on the street, he's fair game, so to speak - as are we all.

Which brings to mind another question, why would anyone care to pay for an autograph which wasn't given to them personally?!?!?

Like someone said, he goes out looking like he wants to look. I personally think he's looking pretty frumpy there. But I could care less. He's fricken 60 something years old, and hasn't had to work a day for over 15 years. He obviously can put on some duds when he sees the need. I've actually gotten used to him looking like that.

Steve was such a gracious person to stop and autograph items, as every celebrity knows that often the items are just going to end up on sale on eBay. Someone here posted the video of Ronnie James Dio asking an autograph seeker what the signature was worth! For the person to take photos after Steve asked him not to and then post them on the bloody Internet is just inexcusable. And one should consider that the poster was making up the details of the conversation he supposedly heard - he got the date wrong by several months. If I ever saw Steve in person or any other celebrity I admired, I would really be hesitant to go up to them because they get bothered so much by people like this.

I remember the guy posted on ebay that he wanted people to see proof that the signature on the ROR album he was selling was really Steve's so he had someone take the picture of Steve signing the album. I do have to say that Steve in no way looks 59 in the photo. He looks much younger. I bet the man was jealous because when he's Steve's age he'll look more like 80.....![]()

That man was no doubt jealous. Did you notice the head of hair on that 60 year old and the lack of hair on the LIAR?
