So almost half of the album and not a ballad in sight. Maybe Neal did win this time!

Thanks for the set list, Isla! I'm uploading my first video now -- probably my best, also. Shouldn't take too long. :)

Do you think that any of the other new songs that they played were harder Rocking than that one?

Just finished the 2nd upload -- it's processing. Working on the 3rd. These are not in order, btw. Except maybe in order of quality, lol. Not all my vids were complete, but plenty good enough to give an idea of the new songs.

Man I wanna like these songs.... I really do... but all I'm feeling is "dark and heavy".... as opposed to "fun and heavy"....

I love new music from Journey, but nothing they have put out since Perry left seems to be of hit quality. When I see/hear these latest new songs, they just don't compare to even the most recent Perry/Journey hits such as "When You Love a Woman" and "Message Of Love".

I'm not saying I wouldn't go see them on the upcoming tour to celebrate the Perry/Journey hits again. I'm just not seeing/hearing anything worth exchanging high fives over.

Thanks RIP
The journey fans from all over the world owe you money for these first live previews.
And off course it`s good to hear new journey tunes but,
steve Perry is the missing link for sure.
He gave Neal and Jonathan the fixing part to make the songs special.
Although i will always be a Journey fan for the rest of my live.

The music is there, it is just missing the emotion that Perry put in the tunes.. I'd still go see them on this tour though and I will buy the CD.

I agree. This stuff sounds like it is going to be incredible. It sounds like Eclipse is going to be the album that should have followed Frontiers.
Thanks RIP!

Thanks for getting these up Rip! :D

Listened to Chain of Love and Resonate so far. Nothing memorable yet, unfortunately.

Sounds fresh...no regurgitated pap like NWA. That's a good thing. Gotta get the album to let the hooks sink in. City of Hope and Resonate stand out imediately.

I've listened to all 5 clips and I feel like something's missing. Perhaps I just need a few more listens, and to get used to the fact that Jon's keys are noticeably absent. And those keys have been there for exactly 30 years. Hmm ... off for another listen.

Hooks? Where'd you hear a hook? (I haven't listened to Human Feel yet)

There's nothing here that really pulls me in, even like the chorus of "Higher Place". I mean you hear that lead in, "oooh and I try, I try to reason why..." just grabs ya and doesn't let go.
