Having a majority of anyone agree with you on something doesn't make you right. That goes both ways.

Teachers LUUURVVVEEE students like that. On my way home some kids smashed the box that held all this shite in it.....so yeah, I got bullied....

Anyway....what I was talking about in my ORIGINAL response was that damned ELECTORAL COLLEGE.

That's enough. Give it a rest.

I'll tell you the BIGGEST problem Obama has going for him. It's not his message, or his ideas.

He's black. And that is the ONLY reason he might not become the next President.

but i honestly don't care. 60,000, 70,000, 100,000..... makes no difference to me. i don't care for her policies and don't want to see her near the oval office.

what i found funny was you "fact finder" posted something that was an error, not fact, etc...

He's getting a large number of votes from blacks and whites alike JUST BECAUSE HE IS BLACK. I've heard a number of people comment that they want to vote for the first black President. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if the number of votes he is getting because he's black balance out the number he is NOT getting because he is black. Either way you look at it, both are wrong.

For me, I'm not voting for him because of his message and ideas. It has nothing to do with the color of his skin.

OK. Here's where you're wrong. Over 40% of white Americans likely will not vote for him BECAUSE he is black.

Twelve percent of the population is African-American. They vote for Democrats at a clip of over 90% every time. Now this year, 95% of them are voting for the Dems. If you do the math, that means that they're getting a grand old bump of less than one percent nationally. Even if 20% of the white population will vote for him because he's black - again, this is beyond unlikely - if 40% of the rest of the populace will NOT vote for him BECAUSE of that same fact, then no, he is NOT getting elected because he's black...he's NOT getting elected because he's black.

Right. But you need to take into account how unrepresentative of the whole population a twelve percent faction thereof is.

Bush and his complete LACK of ideas. Now THERE was a campaign.

It's pretty pathetic that Kerry lost to that jackass in 2004.

The only reason he did, was that everyone was still pretty sure Bush was doing the right thing in Iraq and Afghanistan. His approval rating was still way up there. Bush couldn't beat Carrot Top in an election now.

Of course he will because he doesn't want to admit to losing to someone he believes he is intellectually superior to, despite the fact that they had virtually the same grades in college.

Or, maybe he genuinely believes it and was going to contest the results before Carville gave the tip-off to his Cheney advising wife Mary Matlin.
This has all been documented.

Right, whatever. Edit the "jackass" comment, but don't censure your far worse and way-over-the-top descriptions of Obama.

"7 WISHES STATED: "Bush and his complete LACK of ideas. Now THERE was a campaign.

RICK STATED: "The only reason he did, was that everyone was still pretty sure Bush was doing the right thing in Iraq and Afghanistan. His approval rating was still way up there. Bush couldn't beat Carrot Top in an election now."

Most of my friends are staunch Republicans. I'm a registered Republican who has voted the Democratic ticket since Bill Clinton. But I consider myself a moderate. When Bush was up for re-election, all of my friends were still Bush lovers and I could not discuss politics with any of them since my DISLIKE of President Bush was so strong by then that I saw red when his name was mentioned. Every single one has now stated to me they think he's an idiot -- their words -- one of the worst presidents. They still would never cross party lines, which is fine. I respect McCain. All was well until . . . . . . . . Sarah Palin. Now, I can't discuss her with them. They can't understand my total fear if McCain DIES in office. McCain, why couldn't you have picked Romney? I could have lived with whatever the election brought, b/c anyone is better than Bush. But this . . . . . . . Obama/Biden never looked so good to me (Former Hillary Clinton supporter.) PEACE

I like Sarah Palin. I like that she is pro-life and anti-abortion. What I don't like is her being so anti-bc. IMO, that's kind of counter productive to the whole anti abortion thing . My mother being the most anti abortion person I know believes that Roe Vs Wade should be left alone. That you can't legislate morality. She's thinks McCain would get more votes if he was more moderate on this issue. Even so, I refuse to vote for someone like Obama whom would allow a child who survives an abortion to die like some dog on the street.
