Pretty funny that "Steve" has NKOTB in his top friends. :lol:

But... they're another Legacy band that is being capitalized on with re-releases of catalog stuff now that their name is out there again, so that makes sense. See... told ya... this is all Sony/Legacy... nothing to do with SP or his "timing" as a lot of people have suggested.

You are right of course, but I hope none of the others thought I was indicating that Steve himself was operating this site. Only wondered whether it was official or fake. The answer is found at the bottom of the Privacy Policy:

I don't know if they can set up an artist promo page in the artists name but they seem to be doing just that, and I'm sure not just with him, so there you go. If its run by BMG, then its "legit", meaning its about as legit as you're going to get as far as SP goes. The Journey MySpace used to be run by Sony/Legacy also, until Journey took it over.

Exactly, this will be an advert page if Sony put it up, or a spam page if anyone else did it. I'm agreeing with you here and just saying I don't see the need to add my name to an adware page.

Probably a site that Sony put up. Sony legacy is putting out a SP GH CD in January. No new songs, just a different collection of songs than the previous SP GH CD. I would assume they will advertise it on this page.
