Dear Santa,

Please tell Steve Perry to tour in 2005 because his fans miss him so much. Plus, there's no way that I'm seeing "The Journey's Greatest Hits Show" again in 2005.

What do you think Steve Perry would play??? It would be a Journey Greatest Hits set. It won't be a Steve Perry Greatest Hits + 5 set.

Steve Perry could play anything he wants, and I'd be happy to purchase tickets for his tour.

I think he'd be a shadow of the Steve Perry we all remember as he's been out of the game for so long and is hardly at the age where he's gonna reach any height near times passed.

I left Perry behind when he done the same to the fans and enjoy the Journey that we have today. OK, it might not be as great as once was but its still better than much that's being praised in the industry today.

Then don't. That means there are better chances for better seats for me. Dude, are you a Journey fan? Sure don't act like one. Face it, Perry was awesome, but he is just that....was....

Am I a Journey fan? Yes. However, I am not going to blindly support them if they are going to play a greatest hits tour...again.

You are right that Steve Perry was the main reason Journey in its success and popularity when he joined the band. Likewise, I'd be willing to see Steve Perry in concert as a 55-to-56-year old man than the tired faced Journey tour.

But he'd still play the same "tired faced" tracks that you'd hear on the Journey tour!!!

I think you'd be more likely to get something recorded from Perry than a live tour. He pretty much has said he didn't like touring back in the day so why would he tour now--especially when he has no new material? I wouldn't hold my breath for anything from Perry. He is apparently not even working on the next classic DVD that was supposed to be released.

All I want for Christmas is a Steve Perry tour in 2005

Some people would be happy just getting two front teeth for Christmas. The teeth would come back faster than Perry would ever tour. (which means never)

What makes you think Perry wouldn't have mostly Journey oldies in his set list? That's exactly what he had for his Strange Medicine tour. People in the audience wanted his new stuff, but did he play it? Noooooo. You remember the SM tour? The one he cut short to supposedly go back to Journey? Then he went back to Journey and left them in the lurch after pulling their leg for two years. He is unable to finish anything he starts.

Perry has made it abundantly clear that he doesn't want any part of whatever fandom he has left. (maybe he knows how little that really is)

He seems to get his derriere out and about if and when he can have some Hollywood broads hooked to his arm. Maybe they are after his moo-lah. 8) (what else is there?) Personally I believe he is an arrogant 'I love' me so and so.

Whatever fandom he has left? He has PLENTY of fans left. Haven't you noticed how many threads center around him? :? Christ, the PC thing on Backtalk is to accept Augeri, no questions asked.

This is my Christmas wish list not yours. Plus, I have never seen Steve Perry in concert so hearing him sing "his" songs would be better for me than seeing Journey again. I've seen Journey from 2001-2003, and they aren't getting my money unless they do something new and something that I like.

In the meantime, U2, Duran Duran, and The Rolling Stones will get my 2005 cash if and when they decide to tour.

What do you call five guys stuck in 1985? Answer: Journey!

Hi Barbara,

Did you win the Journey to Albuquerque contest? I read the newsletter volume 14 page 5 at Journeymusic.com's website under the fan club link.

Congratulations if that's you, and the sunglasses look great.

Hi Barbara,

Is that a picture of you winning the sunglasses?
