JOURNEY KEYBOARDIST FLOORED BY NEW SINGER
Journey and Def Leppard finished up their wildly successful North American tour last night (Sunday, November 19th) in San Juan, Puerto Rico. After all the shows they did together, it's amazing to think the whole thing almost collapsed early on because Journey singer Steve Augeri had to drop out for medical reasons. Journey thought about packing it in and going home, but guitarist Neal Schon got them to check out Jeff Scott Soto, who sang with Schon's side band Soul Sirkus. Keyboardist Jonathan Cain told us that Soto worked out better than anyone could have hoped: "Jeff came out and started, and we just threw him to the wolves, and he went out there and somehow got it done, and I was like, 'Whoa, that's astonishing.'And night after night, he kept getting better and better, you know? And then, you know, we had a coupla shows where he absolutely slayed the audience -- I mean, they just were, like... roared with approval."

There's been no word yet on whether Soto is now a permanent member of Journey, but he's in the new publicity photos for the band's European tour in March.

working on getting better. Spend a day in the hospital last Tuesday. have two appointments today. They are sending to another hospital either Tomorrow or the next day. Have a HUGE kidney stone stuck in scare tissue (where they took a stone out in 99) between kidney and bladder. They spent 3 hours trying to get it out before giving up. So I got a stint in waiting to see how it is doing before going back in. It is in bad place to have blasted out, bones are in the way, less than a 50% it would work. But they plan on trying, if that doesn't work they will gave to cut on me to get it :? Other than that everything has been good :D

Yea been behind in posts here (spending time with school and family), before last week now I am really behind. So you may see asking things that have already have been talked about.-ERIC

ERIC, for what it's worth, dude. Last night, I mowed an entire bag of orange Chicken and today, at work, I called timeout, entered the shitter and blew mud. I swear to you bro, I shit a ten pounder out of my sphincter. Hurt like a motherfucker. My boss asked if I was "ok in there?" I was grunting like I was either giving birth or taking it up the shitpipe. It was so big, I had to break it in two to get 'er down the commode.

Amazing I tell ya.

Think of my experience when you pass those boulders.

Good luck.

They tried last Tuesday and failed. I got to a bigger city's hospital tomorrow to see a doctor there. Hopefully they will admit me tomorrow and go from there.-ERIC

ERIC, if you have Vicodin or Darvacet, break them in half and take them...they act more quickly. Trust me on this. When I was full blown in hockey, I had a broken foot, but this son-of-a-bitch got me with a dirty hook to the face. I was going to get that motherfucker if it was the last thing I did. he shot the puck off my foot and I knew I had a broken wheel. I took about 7 Extra strength vicodins and chased his ass down.....I got him, so to speak.
