OMG check this out. The group is called the "Dartmouth Aires" and they did "Separate Ways" acapella. I love it!!

Their clothes could use some work, I'm sure there is some kind of reason for it, but otherwise - amazing talent.

LOL I just researched them a bit... it's a group from Dartmouth University called the Dartmouth Aires... I guess that was some sort of variety show they were doing.

You just made me think of something hilarious. I work in a shop full of men. We are computer techs for a school board, so we are expected to dress half decently, but we do get dirty on the job sometimes (laying cable etc.) so some guys dress down. One time at a staff meeting the boss was trying to get us to smarten up and he said, "If it's good enough for the golf course, it's good enough for here."

When we left the room, my one coworker grumbled, "Fine. Tomorrow I'm wearing plaid knickers, argyle socks, two-toned shoes, a beanie with a pom pom and suspenders."

I never thought I'd stop laughing at that one!!! LOL

Interesting, I didn't wear a lot of heels - my high school boyfriend was near my height, so I wore a lot of flats. I did see a lot of heels.

Before I became a part-time gym rat, my big hair was wider than my shoulders. Shockingly, I was still "waiting for the right girl to come around" in 1993, at age 23, when the law of averages won out and poor Lauren Bluestone had a beer too many and made the worst (and shortest) mistake of her life.

LOL nice analogy. Yeah, he had some flat moments, but on the whole I thought the whole performance was awesome. It's a hard song to sing. That crack at the end was a wee bit hard on the ears. I still loved it though. I love that a song like that has seeped into the popular culture to that level.
