I'm going thru this board after a weekend away and yet again I see racial posts, abuse of other users and unacceptale posts.

People just don't care. But guess what - your actions have the very real potential to cost this site advertising revenue and sour the otherwise excellent reputation this site has for being fair to all.

I have had enough. ENOUGH!

As I posted in another thread...I don't care if there are 3 people left posting here by the time I am done, but there will be NO MORE RACIAL POSTS - NO MORE MEXICAN POSTS - NO MORE ARNEL ABUSE.

ZERO. NONE. NOTHING.

And any one of the shit stirring people on the "other side" of this debate....if you post anything that I deam as a bait or a "I told you so" kind of thing - you will be out of here also.

I'm going to work on giving some users warning and holidays right now.

Hopefully, you'll stick around. People are passionate here and sometimes we go overboard. I've been guilty of this a few times. I can tell you this...the people I have met are all genuinely decent people. And they can also consume massive amounts of alcohol.

I agree with you Andrew 100%. I like that this forum is far more open than others, but I'm also glad you know when to say when. Even then, I think you wait a little too long. As for racial comments in jest, I don't believe there is such a thing in this type of format. A TV show joke, a movie, a comedy club, but not a gathering of music fans for all walks of life. That anyone thinks someone's ability and chance for success has anything to do with their nationality is just plain ignorant. I've stayed away from those threads, so I am not sure the extent of it. But when the press is talking about this place in a negative way, it really tears down all you (and we) have worked for.

Maybe the holidays need to be a bit longer to make your point. And if someone is invited back, they should follow the spirit of the rules or be banned for good. I only say this because this is a free site that is an extension of a legitimate source of revenue for you and your family. You have to protect that.

Everyone just needs to grow up.

I think the point was that there are quite a few newer folks or long-time members that only post when this kinda stuff comes up or they wait to drop some "bait" into a thread every now and again. Having few posts doesn't destroy one's credibilty; having only a few posts and all of them being "bait" and holier-than-thou comments, THAT destroys credibility.
