I've been there a few times. I went to the Journey/Def Leppard concert there in 06, and I was on the lawn. It was 103 that day and the place had a record crowd. It was fairly miserable. I saw VH there and had really good seats and that wasn't too bad. Was still hot as hell though. I might go if I don't have to sit on the lawn.

It's safe because they have plenty of security. It's at Fair Park and that sits in a pretty rough part of east Dallas. Just use the venue parking and you'll be fine. There are a lot of houses around there that let you pay to park in their yard. I wouldn't trust that.

September 12th a Friday no less. Looks like I am going to be sick Hopefully it will be a perfect late summer night...shorts a cool breeze and no humidity.
