Ain't fightin words. It's an opinion. It's only fightin' words when someone disagrees, and you choose to let them argue with you. I simply don't care that much lol.

Nice clip Aaron. It doesn't take an 'extremely critical ear' to know you are right. Augeri rightfully owns this one.

Augeri on this one for me. BTW, Neal was sloppy as hell on the end of Stone in Love there... and his tone was so THIN. Anyone who thinks hes playing worse today should go back and look at this.

Great performance by Soto on a pretty difficult song...but not quite as good as Augeri on the song.

I bought the "Armegeddon" soundtrack just for this song...a good song - especially love the beginning.

Why?

Why does it always have to be a pissing contest between the various Journey-singer camps?

Can't we just appreciate their individual talents and contributions to Journey?

I am getting right sick of it...every year...year after year after year...Perry was better than...Augeri is better than...Soto is better than...

The basic fact is they are ALL...ALL OF THEM...extraordinarily talented people...and as genuine and caring as people come...ALL OF THEM...so instead of trying to beat these fine people up, for whatever reason...maybe we should be thankful that they all contributed to Journey and gave us memories and music.

How's that sound?

Its not being small minded... Its human nature to compare and contrast. Everyone has their favorites and are willing to defend them. I think everyone here appreciates every member, some just are in certain camps.

It's not the compare and contrast that bothers me...it's the total trashing of the various people that I have issue with.

Journey in all it incarnations has given all of us so much music, so many good memories, so many good times that I get disgusted by people who find amusement in thrashing the very people who did all of that.

No - on the wrong coast for me.....but I've been promoting the hell out of the JSS show at Paladino's on our show...on our site...on our myspace...the whole works... but I have a friend who will likely attend.

I know what you mean. My favorite singer out of the 4 is Augeri. So trust that I know exactly what you mean. Its a vicious circle.

I agree he owns that song,I listened the the 2001 DVD,{which I made a CD from it} in my car yesterday, and played it to a freind of my daughters, a 15 year guy that plays guitar like a pro, he likes Neals playing,he heard Steve a singing the blues thing he did before Lovin Touchin, he said, "reminds me of Steve Marriot from Humble Pie.That was cool,he had no idea that Steve M was an influence on his style

The only other singer I've seen perform Lovin', Touchin', Squeezin' with the soulful swagger that that song deserves is JSS. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-UR2hw6AsAI

I know most people would have rather seen that one pulled from the dirty dozen, but I've always loved that one from the classic lineup................that is one that has to be sung with the right attitude or it falls short IMO. Alright, I guess they can pull that one now.
