Hello all,

Long-time 22-year+ Journey Fanatic here ... Over 13 Journey concerts so far and counting ... I'm very interested in forming a FANatic Get-Together for the Thursday, July 31st show at Cruzan Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach ...

Anyone interested, please post here whether you're planning on attending the show, and also, if you'd be available to get-together either before the show, or afterwards - probably before would be easier - either nearby the amphitheater, or inside ...

If anybody has any location suggestions, these would be welcomed, as well.

The only possible issue is, the show is on a Thursday night and rush-hour traffic from the FL Turnpike, as well as local traffic in and around the area of the amphitheatre can really back up heavily - it took over 45 min. to get from the exit of the Turnpike, into the amphitheatre parking lot for the Police concert in May ... Just an FYI ...

I'll have lawn seats, so it doesn't matter to me ...

You are down there by my old stomping grounds!!!! I have family that still lives in Hollywood, actually Pembroke Pines. I wish I were going to this show but I am closer to Atlanta now since my company moved me to south Georgia. Wish I could join you folks!

Yeah, you may be onto something here - I might actually have to get seats for this one, although for some reason, I've always liked the lawn seats for shows there - it seems like the party is always on the lawn !

By the way, were you at the show on Feb. 10, 2007, at the Pompano Beach Amphitheatre? We had a bit of a get-together there and I think we might have chatted online around that time - not sure though ..

When were you in Gainesville? I was there from 1986-1991 - History major, but I'm now completing my Masters in Public Administration this year at Nova Southeastern Univ. in Ft. Lauderdale ...

What do you do in Atlanta? I love meeting people from the Gator Nation and developing networking contacts, friends, etc.

Are you in the Gator Club of Atlanta? I have a very close buddy of mine who is very active in it ..

88-91!!! Degree in Business Management. I dont live in Atlanta, I actually live in South Georgia just a hop,skip and jump from the Florida line. Ive been here a few years now,I guess. Unfortunately we dont have a Gator club around Albany. The Atlanta club is huge though, in fact they got the state license plates passed with the Gator on it for Georgia!

Yup Michael, I was there, in the 4th row! We never got to meet up though.

Don't know if Im going to the show yet but I willl let you know, Pompano show was great had 8th row center stage..Limo ride to and from show. That is a great venue for a show.

BUMP ! Just trying to see about a potential roll-call of fans to hang out together, as the show is just about two weeks away, and counting ! Woo-hoo !

Is Cruzan the ampitheater over by the county jail, off of fairgrounds rd?

Yup, South Florida fairgrounds, Sansbury Way.

What a great place, you can take in a concert and pick up a hooker as she gets released on bail, in the same parking lot.
