Nothing that can get anyone in trouble, but I hate seeing our right to privacy infringed on.

A lot folks think YT's the devil's playground but remember those "stupidest criminals" shows. YT provides that at no cost.

The kids that filmed the "baby flying" and the marine "puppy toss" both posted to YT and it caught up to them.

I don't see YT as inspiring the behavior although it may create copycats. I don't mind full disclosure if it'll help catch these type of fools.

I agree with that. But this is Viacom saying we need to see people records to see how many people are watching our copyrighted material as opposed to non-copyrighted material. Our right to privacy is breached over Viacoms bottom line. I think that's crappola dude. ;)

Dismissing privacy concerns, a federal judge overseeing a $1 billion copyright-infringement lawsuit against YouTube has ordered the popular online video-sharing service to disclose who watches which video clips and when.

Hate to see how many times I've viewed this one.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kyec69txVfo

Viacom can suck it. I don't care if they keep all their shows off YT. There's always something else to watch and another way to watch it.

They didn't charge the kid filming with anything yet. I read its HIS family that was taking care of the kid and the other teen was a friend of his.

You know what's weird though? There's been less outrage over the baby than when that puppy got tossed.

People that stupid and naive deserve to be caught. I keep thinking about that recent deal where those school-age girls kidnapped and held a friend that they accused of bashing them on MySpace or Facebook or something, and kept beating her over and over again... and filmed the whole thing so they could upload it to YouTube! You've GOT to be kidding me! So guess what? They were easily caught, and I believe charged w/kidnapping and assault. I should try to dig up that article and video.
