Strange, strange story... Hope there is nothing to it, but if so, consider me "out on Bale"...

I've just been seeing stories about it on the evening news. Nothing coming out of Hollyweird really surprises me these days.

Says he was released and not charged .... I won't be making any judgments on this one till (and if) the whole story comes out.

My thoughts exactly, and that's why I'm really kinda taking it like the Rikki Rockett rape charge case... It sounded bizarre and he never seemed the type. Turned out to be a very strange story involving someone impersonating him, and the victim decided to extort the real Rikki or something.

I'm not making any judgments, either. Bale seems like a pretty well-rounded guy.

Yeah, I also heard today that apparently there's some bad blood between him and his Mom from way back (seems he chose his Dad over her to live with back in the day). He denies it, and he was released...it is odd timing, though.

Even if is it true, a shoving match is hardly what I consider a big woo. What family hasn't gotten down in the mud from time to time?

Maybe they're pissed he's not sending some of the $ their way and makin shit up. Maybe Bale's getting deep into recreating his Patrick Bateman character for the long-awaited REAL follow-up to American Psycho. Who knows. His mom looks like a bitch in the pic. Probably a lie.

American Psycho is one of my all-time faves! Hell, I even liked the sequel!

If they are lying, would be far from the first time isolated family members have tried to capitalize and grab 15 minutes of fame by pulling a stunt like this, or writing an "unauthorized" bio.

They're probably Heath fans and were dogging on Bale about Ledger totally owning his ass in the movie.

Apparently only a verbal 'assault' which for some reason is now illegal in the UK so I had better watch what I say to people from now on!

Mommy Jenny Bale and sister Sharron have finally spoken out about Christian's arrest and said an "incident" had taken place on Sunday but refused to give any details.

Batman's sis originally denied knowing anything about it but then said, "OK, there was an incident but the police are dealing with it. It is an extremely sensitive situation. There is nothing more I can say."

The alleged assault was believed to have taken place on Sunday night at the fancy Dorchester Hotel, where Bale was staying ahead of The Dark Knight's London premiere on Monday.

Christian is denying any wrongdoing.

Momma Jenny said, "Yes I was there and yes there was a family situation but the police are handling it and I cannot say anymore at the moment. We didn't call the police to the scene. I can't say anymore but we didn't call the police."

Mom and sis reportedly went to a police station in Hampshire to make the allegation, which was subsequently referred to the London's Metropolitan Police.

At the age of 17, Christian left his former circus clown and dancer mom and sisters in Wales to live with his animal/environmental activist dad in LA.

The senior Bale died from a brain tumor in December 2003 and Christian was at his bedside.

Since moving to LA he has only been back to Wales once.

Sounds like mom and son don't exactly have a close relationship to us!

But, in a previous interview, Jenny, the former clown, said her famous son had never shunned or snubbed her.
