My pal RATGIRL is 2 for 2 on accomplishing Rip Rokken missions! First, she puts me on the phone with Don Dokken a few months ago, and tonight she puts me on the phone with none other than Ross Valory and Deen Castronovo! Had a short but nice conversation with Deen, and mentioned how much I regretted missing him in Vegas. He instantly remembered the P.F Changs get together with all the crew there, and was super cool! I think he said they'd just finished watching Slipknot tonight, and that they were unreal.

RATGIRL -- I owe ya TWO now! YOU ROCK!!!!!!! We simply must meet at a Queensryche show sometime and tear the place up!!!

I had a very BIZARRE day... went from feeling like a jackass and a simple shtick poster on MR who had a small handful of generous "enablers" like yourself and BJG who keep my short threads afloat to finding out that several people read and enjoy them, learning that Saint John and myself have been referred to as "famous" and the "Cuties of MR"... (faith20yrs, was that you?!?), having the ever-so-hot SacredEyes saying she felt "sticky" when I was singing along with Journey (though I haven't confirmed that was a compliment yet... haha!), getting over 100 separate requests for info on the shirt we gave to Arnel and how they can get one, and being welcomed with "Open Arms" over on Arnel's official website where both he and Neal apparently show up regularly. Top that off with a brief but very nice conversation with Deen, and that makes the whole banana split. No wait, the SUPREME cherry on top of the sundae -- learning I will be in Cleveland with all my best pals! ALL THIS IN ONE FREAKIN' DAY!!! And Behshad, really looking forward to meeting ya, bro! Proggie, too!!! Let's DOKK IT UP BIG TIME!

Seriously, and all teasing aside, I've made this offer to texafana several times and will continue to make it -- ANY venue we are both at, you are welcome to come by, be a regular guy and say hello, and we will have a great laugh over all this silliness -- NO awkward moments or animosity whatsoever. I would sincerely be excited to meet you. But if you want to limit your MR exposure strictly to trolling around in people's posts, dishing out left-handed compliments, and generally bringing the ants to everyone's picnic here, the beatdowns will continue...
