Not sure if anyone heard this scumbag's story. He was a Boston firefighter who was out on disability leave, for quite some time. He wasn't even a firefighter who actively fought fires. He worked for Inspectional Services, so I'm not sure why his "bad back" would prevent him for working in that role. In any event, it turns out the guy was competing in a professional bodybuilding contest, and the video got out (got to love youtube). They ordered the guy back to work, and after two weeks of him not showing up, he has finally been fired by the Boston FD! Good riddance! I don't really want to get into the details, but a few years back I was injured so badly at the mall I now have to wear orthopedic shirts...................

I used to have a boss here at my job that oddly enough, is 110% disabled. 60% because of something and then 20% and 30% because of some other stuff. Bad back, bad hip, bad ankles, bad rotator cuff... All done in the military. So... he managed to work here FULL TIME, on his feet much of the time, ran in our drills, and still manages to jump out of airplanes for a hobby... $100,000+ a year job here, PLUS getting $60,000 a year in disabilities (he claimed). On top of everything esle, he was a complete weenie. We often prayed for a chute malfunction...

Just the kind of idiot who gives disability compensation a terrible name. This kinda shit hurts those few who really need it badly.

What a dickhead. He should be jailed for fraud.
