The article says he dumped his second wife by fax. Sounds like it was something straight out of the Journey playbook.

Looks like he should still have 150 million or so when the dust settles. His money, his life I guess.

None of my business! I'll buy his albums, and really could care less about his personal life. He still sounds the same as he did when he was married to me!

He was married to you...? Just how much did you settle for?

I thought $225.00 per ticket for this last tour was too much. Can't wait to see what next tour's prices are after he decides to recoup that 46 mil

LOL. Dumping your wife by fax is pretty cold though.

In fairness, it should be known that his second wife cheated on him...lied bout the extent of the affair, and after reconciling, continued her affair.

The article's writer is merely perpetuating a myth. Collins and his soon-to-be-ex worked out some of the details of their already-in-progress split by fax...nothing more.

Top price for the last two shows of the 2007 Genesis tour was a whopping $345.00.

Of course, they were at the Hollywood Bowl, notorious for having higher prices than just about any other venue in North America.

I saw the second-to-last show, and paid around $145.00 each for decent seats.

Wouldn't have missed it for the world...and I'll be there again, if they ever do another tour.

I heard it was a "home by the sea" since they went their "seperate lives".

actually, for what it's worth...I always thought some of his better songwriting came from when he was angry. He definitely should have a decent amount of intense songs should he decide to do another album at some point. Getting him angry and taking it out on the drums was usually a good point for a strong song--maybe not as radio friendly, but good stuff nonetheless.

"She's a GREEDY lover! She got a HOUSE from me, believe it!

But isn't the real question here, "How would he sound singing a Journey song?"

Wasn't the song "Misunderstanding" based around an actual relationship gone awry in Phil's life?

Misunderstanding

Here's an idea, Phil: PRE-NUP!

I listen to a very smart guy on the radio. Every week I hear this:

PRENUP

PRENUP

PRENUP

PRENUP

He's been married 4 times and does not pay alimony and still owns his house. Prenup- a word to live by. I guess ol Neal and Phil never heard of it.

Uncle's wife was a fuckin gold digger - "If you really love me we won't need a prenup she tells him." So he, a very smart guy otherwise, goes along with this bullshit. 20 years and 2 kids later, and he's still hurting. And he does very well for himself. Just can't catch up. This bitch wasn't even interested in having custody of their kids, which was good for my uncle but shows how much of a fuckin swindle she was.

Guy's gonna be working til he's in the ground. His 401k is about the size of a high schooler's. Bitch.

Yeah... something much cheaper... like whacking off to porn videos. Hell, I'll sell him my avatar pic for four front row tickets to a Genesis concert. Much less expensive than a messy divorce.

That's probably what he get in royalties a month so that probably won't hurt him to much.

And he faxed her from another country where he was shacked up with the nanny!!!

Sounds like they all deserve each other.

If you did a little research, you'd have found out a prenup would have done no good.

http://www.weddingguideuk.com/articles/ ... uptial.asp

Are they legal in the UK?
In the United Kingdom, pre-nuptial agreements currently have no legal standing. The divorce courts have the last word in the division of all matrimonial property and would ignore any pre-nuptial agreement if they thought that it was in any way unreasonable to either of the parties involved, particularly regarding to the maintenance and housing of children. For example, regardless of whose name a couple’s property is in, a court may order it to be transferred to the other. This applies to all property that is owned seperately or jointly
