Barry didn't need to catch the ball. As far as blocking....he never had a single offensive lineman who even attempted to throw a block for him, and because of that, he was always too busy running for his life to even think about blocking. I'm not ready to put Tomlinson among the all-time greats. Another year or two with comparable numbers, I'll give in to that. I loved Walter Payton, but Sanders was simply in a class by himself and had ZERO rivals, as a running back. I've had many Cowboys' fans over the years tell me Emmitt was better than Sanders, and it's all I can do not to piss myself laughing. Emmitt couldn't carry Barry's jock!
