I just read the Cheap Trick news on the MR frontpage. I didn't know that Bruce Dickinson produced Cheap Trick. Is this the same Bruce Dickinson who "needs more cowbell?"

I believe so. I'm fairly certain that it's NOT the Bruce Dickinson that's the singer in Iron Maiden.

the bruce in that sketch had nothing to do with Dont Fear the Reaper. Sandy Pearlman was the band's producer on that song. I don't know how they got Dickinson mixed up in that sketch. Pearlman was involved with the Cult for many years. See this wiki:
