I can't believe it's almost been a full month since the Shoreline show, and I've been so far behind since then that I almost didn't put these pics together at all. But Shoreline almost seemed like old news within just a few days anyway, as people were already talking about the Greek and Pechanga shows… haha! Definitely made some awesome friends, man. I tell ya, most likely nothing will beat the high I've been on this year... 2008, with all it's general ups and downs, has been the best year of my adult life, hands down. Paying over $4.00/gal for gas was one of the lows... haha! Oh yeah, and the upcoming Presidential election. But even those things can't put a damper on this year for me...

Miles Schon was the coolest, and funny story -- for I left my assigned seat to join a friend on the 4th row, I noticed a kid sitting a few people to my right in the row in front of me, and he was rocking OUT! Looked at him and said to myself, "Man, that kid kinda looks like a young Neal Schon." Turned out it was Miles, and I had no clue... haha! And then I realized Neal's mother was immediately behind me as well.

Anyway, Miles was great, and I'm looking forward to seeing what he does next. And Mich, I spent more time trying to figure out how to caption those 4 Miles pics than any other... wasn't sure about using the word "past" in reference to Neal, but I figured people would know I meant it kinda resembled a younger Neal, and not that Neal was "the past". The second part kinda made a reference to the Journey album title.

Hope is extremely photogenic and she made any picture we were in together much better just for being in it. She's the coolest!

Great slideshow and video, Rip!! .... Definitely one of the best weekends ever! JOURNEY, Miles Schon, the parties, and all the awesome people (friends) .... the only thing that could have made this weekend better is if ALL OF YOU could have been there also!! Hey! Thank you so much. And thanks to Chica for taking that video. I don't have many. Maybe we can find a place to sing in Houston... that would be a kick.

On AP's site, the way the message board is structured I got used to replying individually to each post. Here, didn't want to string too many posts in a row so I grouped them together. Easy... go to quote one, then copy the entire text and paste it into Notepad, then go back and grab another and repeat... then copy them all as a group into your single reply.
