......and for the guys not hung up on range.

Just kidding Bry.

But range is pretty overrated when you can emote like this.

(sigh), I have this concert boot, and it's beautiful watching and listening to him. Of course, we perryloons will love anything he does. But I'm wondering if SP's (present) reluctance has to do with the perceived (general public's)expectation that he comes out sounding just like early Journey days (i.e., those songs on the radio that is still played every day). God knows, there's been enough discussions back and forth about this here.

IBAWY is one of my least favorite Journey Songs but I love this performance.

Jesus Christ what a voice. I totally ripped off this break for Frontiers, and Neal had no idea that Perry was doing this. Ours was a bit different but when Neal heard it he told me it was just what Perry would have done, and I was thinking to myself, "really, you never saw Steve's arrangement from the FTLOSM tour?" but holy crap, what a voice.

thanks for that little insight, Jeremey, about what Neal said.

I think his range and voice was great there. I know some clips from the FTLOSM tour show a few songs with a little trouble. But most of the clips I've seen sound and, of course, look

great, even if it was taken down a little on some songs. Thanks for posting of the video.

Is that the new album cover in your avatar Jeremey? I guess I'm a bit behind in the developments. Do you have a release date set?

Just an image to promote the new song "Can't You See He's Gone." I'm beta testing "This Is Your Life" tonight, and I'm also working with Mr Spinks on some new tunes this week. So really, what developments there are will be subject to change, that's for sure. Looking at March-June 2009 right now.

Jeremey-is The Outfield working on anything new yet and is John Spinks health good enough now to proceed?

You have this concert boot, Annie? I am jealous.
For those who have good stuff squirreled away..(You know who you are!!

:
Take pity on us newbies who only have Youtube for material.
There is nothing new going to come out again, most likely, from the great Steve Perry.
So, maybe you could find a way to post more of his obscure boots? These are priceless gems!! ??? Feeding hungry loons and loonbabies keeps Stevie alive....

I was never able to see Steve preform live either. Boy, do I wish I had. With the help of friends, I too, have the NY and Toronto boots. I've heard that there is a Memphis boot. If it is out there I'd love to get a copy of it. But I do love to watch the boots that I do have. But then, I love watching Steve anyway.

I am soooooooo glad I got to see this tour since I had a VERY sick relative who later died. I would have had to missed it if it were not for a very kind nurse. This version is incredible. Deb ,you make audio miracles for all of us !
