Did anyone go to this? If so, any vids or audio. Found it on the augeriville.com site. Here's the quote: This past Saturday he performed for the Joe Dimaggio Diamond Angel's Fairy Tale Ball again. It was an amazing weekend and Steve performing was the icing on the cake.
I've said this before and I'll say it again, not once did my belief in this man falter and with every show he does the nay sayers have to eat more of their negative garbage they have spewed all over. We witnessed a happy, confident and just plain having a blast on stage guy this past Saturday night. The crowd, well some were on the dance floor when Jimi Jamison was on, nothing against him at all...he was great..but as usual once Steve was on stage..and I have a photo to prove it..the crowd had tripled in size.
Set List...Lights, Faithfully, Separate Ways, Don't Stop Believin', Lovin' Touchin' Squeezin' and Anyway You Want It. They just don't have a mold that comes close to Steve Augeri and he just gets better and better.
Hopefully you will get to witness it for yourself soon and you will see what I'm talkin' about. It was a great weekend and I cannot thank my two favorite people in the world, enough for inviting me to come back down to South Florida...and how about that weather?? NOW THAT'S FLORIDA, BABY!
Congrats to Steve on a wonderful show and the Joe Dimaggio Foundation on a very successful night..it's amazing what they do.

I'm gonna come off as a dick, but why doesn't Steve do his own music or at least sing songs from his own era with Journey (Higher place, etc.). Do I understand right that Rollie doesn't even touch Journey stuff when he performs live?

Charity show; everybody only does a couple of songs; peeps at these events want to hear stuff they can sing along with, fuels the uplifting vibe of the moment. I hope he will be trotting out his own and Tall Stories' new stuff in the near future.

I'd prefer an Augeri-based set also, but nobody's ever heard of it, so you lose the audience. Same reason that Jimi Jamison, if/when he tours isn't going to have a setlist dominated by his solo stuff--instead you'll get Survivor (even the stuff he didn't even sing to begin with!!).
As far as Rolie goes, I know he has been known to do a Journey song or two when Kevin Chalfant shows up. They will do the Rolie/Perry duets.

Maybe not as a rule, I truly don't know, but he did not peep one damn note of Journey material when I saw him.
(and it's "Rolie"

)

Chalfant was there at the show, but he didn't get on stage.

I thought the same thing. He just becomes a tribute singer at that point.

Is it known that Steve is performing at this, or is it just an assumption at this point?
