There will be a huge meal of crow to be eaten.

I'll go to war with what I'm hearing, whether I'm the new guy or not. And whether or not past "sources" have heard different things. I just had a long Thanksgiving day chat with my sister. As I said, I'll go to war with what I've been told. Things change, people and "sources" change.

My day here, and The Voice's day everywhere is coming. The fun it will be to watch the negative, immature, jealous, cynical, bitter people be flat out WRONG, will be spectacular! (You know who you are).

lol...Steve Perry can put out 60 new songs and it won't mean shit until he performs live. Anyone can sound good today with the technology at hand.

I'd be the first person to admit I was wrong if he sang live and sounded good. I have always expected that if he were to do something that it would be on AI. I still maintain that.

I've never wished anything negative on SP. I'm just tired of his cat and mouse game. His vague references for years about what he may or may not be doing, all with the same result...nothing. I'd like nothing more than for him to rejoin Journey and do the farewell tour music's greatest fans deserve so much. He has robbed us of that for a long time. The FTLOSM tour was basically a slap in the face to Journey fans and his ex-band members. So was the the shit he pulled circa TBF. Certainly you aren't going to deny that.

Yes I will. It's simple. FTLOSM was him wanting to write, sing and play live again. TBF was him having a triumphant return to the band that HE made famous(which he did) and then needing a freakin' hip replacement(which he got). Are you gonna deny that?

For God's sake. HE CALLED JON about a reunion. Why would he do that just to destroy what he'd built?

If the guy puts out anything, most people here will support it by buying it. Just to hear from the guy after all these years'd be cool. Nobody wishes the guy ill or anybody that backs him (no matter how over the top they are). However, for anyone that's followed the situation the last ten years and before, one has to beg the question "why believe it now?"
Might happen. Might not. We'll just have to see. Personally, I'll believe it when I see it.

And I for one will not ridicule your sources. I believe that they are sincere. Whether or not they prove to be right, I don't discount what you've been told.

Please don't be offended by the general disbelief. I am sure you understand that it reflects Steve's history, plus the denials of those who have some contact with him.

Thanks for your support. But what real denials do we have? People have heard demo's and that they sound "like himself". How's that a denial? And I'm dying to hear what Andrew's sources have told him, but as of yet, we haven't. How is that a denial?

And history changes over time. Because it's been talked about for a decade, doesn't mean that it won't happen later in time and later can be soon.

I'm just going by what I've been told and if I'm wrong, I'll be the first to say that I'm sorry that I was. But I stand by these 2 words......

All I said was no time soon. We all anticipate another record if and when....but everything I have heard suggests not in any time frame rumored here (which lets face it, ahs been also rumored every year since 2000).

have to admit i've heard the exact same news as Mad...however how soon is always the question....but it's like verbatum and sounds like the same source. hard to tell when it will and if it will but where there's a will there might be a way.
