I heard that Swayze's pancreatic cancer has now spread to his liver. It was said that he's begun saying his goodbyes to family and friends.
Sad news.
Edit: News is debunked, but still not good. See Gunbots post below.

Actor Patrick Swayze has denied US tabloid reports that he is close to death, calling allegations "shoddy and reckless reporting".
The 56-year-old star said reports that he is "on his last legs and saying goodbye to my tearful family" were "lies and false information".
Swayze, who has been filming a US TV drama, said his pancreatic cancer was "a battle, but so far I'm winning".
He was diagnosed with the disease in March and had rigorous treatment.
In a statement to People magazine, the actor called newspaper stories "the only thorn in my side", and said he was home for the Christmas holidays after filming police series The Beast.
US tabloid The National Enquirer reported that Swayze's cancer had spread to his liver.
The Globe ran a photo of the Dirty Dancing star on its front page with the headline "Swayze Deathbed Secret!"
Some US newspapers initially reported that Swayze had weeks to live when his diagnosis became public in March.
But he returned to work and was able to complete 12-hour days due to his treatment programme.
Swayze said that he was one of the "lucky few" that responds to treatment for the illness.
But he added: "Pancreatic cancer is an aggressive disease and from the moment I was diagnosed, I knew I was in for the fight of my life."
Pancreatic cancer is one of the most virulent forms of cancer which medicals experts say has a 5% five-year survival rate.

No more news from the people at work then.
Still not great news, but better than what I heard today.

Sad news.
If this is true, my deepest thoughts go out to him and his family. I helped provide hospice care to
my sister, my dad, and my brother during their last weeks battling cancer until the moment they passed away. Cancer at this stage is very, very cruel to the body and if it truly has spread to his liver well . . . it's just not the best news for him.

LLL......so sorry that you had to experience this with so many loved ones!!!

It's terrible news but he has been going through this for months, where they say he's at death's door. When he does pass away, these tabloids will be claiming they told us first.

Lost my older brother last year to cancer. He was 52. He knew he had it two years before he told anyone and he kept going to work and didnt tell any of us. He wanted no treatment !! He was quoted as saying on many occasion that he wanted to like his life driving 100mph until he hit the wall. HE worked at a machine shop and never missed a day. Kept himself going via oxycontin and none of us knew a thing. It wasnt until it spread to his brain and caused a stroke that the whole family found that he had been hiding it for two years and my then it was too late.

Pancreatic cancer runs in my family. My great-grandmother died from it, and just last summer my uncle lost his battle.
There seems to be a pattern with a lot of people who are diagnosed. First, they receive aggressive treatment and they appear on the road to recovery, then it comes back and spreads to the liver. This is exactly what happened to my uncle last year.
It's a very nasty disease, and for most it is a death sentence.
